Actually I agree 100% they're all games, and I should have clarified that in my post - I'm not the sort of person who gets butt-hurt over simulation games being called games (because they are). But if your intention wasn't to infer that AMS2 is a 'game' where AMS1 is a 'sim', then perhaps you need to elaborate on what you were saying when you said "AMS1 is a realistic simulation and AMS2 is a fun game".

I just don't agree that the gulf in the skills required to be successful in AMS2 compared to all other modern sims is anywhere near enough to say that it's not a realistic simulator - you still use the same skills and driving methods. Let's be honest, AMS2 doesn't belong in the same bucket as NFS:Heat, not even close
