So here we are...the F1 2025 season is finished and now i'm wondering...do we'll get a new formula gen for 2026? Following the new rules, specs, no DRS, Attack Mode? And also, what about F1 tracks missing on AMS2 like Las Vegas, Miami, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Hungaroring, Baku...i really hope Reiza will make a bundle dedicated to F1 for the upcoming season.

What do you guys think about the hiring announcement?

The mentioning of Discord experience for a community manager sounds like there will be an official channel in the future.

Also a Game producer sounds like work on a new project will start/ramp up, which would fit that Renato stated many times that the career mode - which is coming in 2026 - will be the last big addition for AMS2.

Anyways it's great news that Reiza is in a healthy state to increase manpower for whatever they are up to :D

AMS3 in the making? Why not?
The bar will be very high in the near feature. Since the 0.4 releas of AC EVO I haven‘t touch another sim. Nordschleife is epic in this game and with this update, physics and FFB feel amazing.
Other developers will have to pick up the pace to keep up with it if they continue to refine this Sim in this quality until 1.0.

I honestly can't get myself to play Evo further. Yes the cars themselves and FFB get's better with each iteration. But the AI is just really bad and there are no real carclasses with matched BOP to drive against. Cars can drive as good as it can it doesn't really click with me if there is no exiting racing going on

Personally I think the market for racing sims is reaching saturation point.

IMO Reiza would be best suited to developing and refining AMS2 as much as possible rather than reinventing the wheel yet again. Even moreso if they were to stick with the Madness engine - I think it would be nonsensical to start on a new project unless they were switching to the Unreal engine or something of that nature and completely rebuilding from scratch. And in this day and age that's a huge amount of work. I'm also not sure what limitations are in place in terms of licensing - e.g., cars and tracks may only be licensed specifically for use in AMS2 and new deals would need to be done to use them in a new game with a new title.

But again, this is just speculation on our part - I would hate the idea of rumours getting in the way of whatever Reiza are actually planning and I'm sure they will make an announcement of sorts when they're ready.

You can have pretty decent AI races with the GT2 cars + the Lambo Super Trofeo, which is basically a GT2 class car.
But it‘s not about racing the AI for me in Evo.
I choose whatever car I like to drive, load a server with Nordschleife Touristen-Layout and just drive my laps with some traffic. Can‘t wait for free roaming!

AC Evo has really improved significantly with update 0.4, a huge improvement over 0.3. The physics are excellent, and especially the "normal" cars are very good. There are significant differences between the cars, just like in real life. For me, Evo is the opposite of AMS 2; the physics are good, but the force feedback still has room for improvement. If things continue like this, other simulations will have to catch up.

I still think AC1 is more polished than Evo...
In sim racing, "new" usually means: "Come back in a few years." Even AMS1 still has significant advantages over AMS2.

And they've been working with an engine for five years that itself has years of development behind it.

Don't get me wrong. Evo will be great.

But I don't buy a new car every year just because another one has 10 more horsepower. It first has to be significantly better than its predecessor, which only costs €5.

This is one of the most deep truths I have read about simracing.

Moreover, AC1 just recently, with mods, have got some of the basics features a racing simulator should have: safety cars and rolling starts. Old papyrus games are in some aspects much more immersive than modern sims. Moreover, the worst thing is that modern games tend to be less modeable than before, for instance ACC will never get the community boost AC1 had.

I haven’t touched AMS1 in a while so I wonder what you think AMS1 does better. I’m not doing this in an angry and “MY FAVOURITE SIM IS THE BEST” way, but in an open and curious way

Not a question to me, but IMO: AMS1 is built over a more "open" platform, so basically modding. Then some small things here and there: the custom championships tool for instance, there is no way to manually raise a full course caution in AMS2, etc

However, AMS1 an advantage here: it is the point of convergence of that product. It is a finished product by a developer that apparently finishes its products. I am always a bit hyped about the final state of AMS2, those last AI calibrations and the community mods on a settled platform. At the same time I do not want that in the near future
