Question: where is the documentation to alter the AI with the new criterias?

So you changed only a single thing and then say the game engine is the reason the cars spin, but because the car setup might not fit your driving style, the track, the conditions, or possibly all three. You need to delve more into tweaking car setups.

Hello everyone, I absolutely love driving the GT1 2005 class, preferably the Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT. But since a few updates ago, at the top of the sunshade is this annoying bluish light streak, as you can see in the picture. Please Reiza, take a look at it. What's causing this? How can it be fixed? A quick solution is much appreciated.

    Hello,

TAA is likely the culprit. Please pick another AA, like MSAA Med, etc. And see if that fixes your issue.

Why are the flag monitors in GT3 Cars still not in use? This Monitor is important for Multiclass-Races (against Prototypes/Hypercars - like WEC, IMSA...) to show blue, yellow, etc. flags.

    Hi Marius,
i mean this monitor (red circle) on the GT3 Gen2 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo

    AMS-2-flag-monitor.jpg

Ok, i thought many other Cars in GT3 Gen2 / GTE and LMDh got such a monitor in the cockpit - like real life. Such a monitor belongs in all these cars - like real Race-Series it used. The LMU-Game had this Monitor as Standart in the Game, like i saw on videos.

Is it possible to put this Monitor in these cars and used it by the game in future AMS 2 - Updates?

I play the game in VR and with this feature the game was even more realistic - as it is now.
So far blue flags (on Multiclass-Races) show on just on the HUD-Display - as a HUD-Overlay in the cockpit. This is really not nice or real.

    Hi,

Thank you for uploading your screenshot. I totally forgot about these as I play on a monitor. I've no idea what's in the pipeline for this feature/monitor. So I can't really give you an answer, but I will try poke internally.

    Hello Marius, its me again...;)

To show you exactly what i mean - i take a picture of LMU and circle red the monitor. You see a "Yellow Flag" warning, also to see on the monitor (in the game) are blue, green or double yellow flags over this monitor.

Bellow AMS 2 (i drove a Multiclass-Race and take a shot for this post) and this simple "Blue Flag" Warning over HUD - this is not nice...
I play AMS 2 in VR and with disabled HUD - i dont need and want a HUD in VR. But such Warning show up in AMS 2 even i play with disabled HUD.

    ams-2-lmu---flag-monitor.jpg

This is "ugly" and belongs to a Flag Monitor like LMU it has. I hope AMS 2 installed such a Monitor in future updates.

    Greetings from Germany.

Question about Racetrack Daytona 24h Layout: what is the reason that the starting field is so far back placed before the start? You drive on slow speed around 2 min before the race (rolling start) even started on the start line.

Didn't know where to put this questions, I thought this is the best place to do so.

    The last couple of days I'm testing a dedicated server with multi-class (LMDh, GT3). A few things I run into with this;

    1. On race starts at Le Mans, the GT3 cars (and a few off the LMDh cars) start in the middle of the chicane. Can multi-class get a staggered race-start for the different classes like they do at the NLS24 ?
    2. On rolling race starts, before manual control is given, the computer rear ends me into car in front. Because of that I get a penalty, forcing me to disable penalties all together or use standing start. Tested with a 30 car grid. I'm driving a GT3, and before I know it I'm seeing a Valkyrie's gearbox very very up close
    3. The Ai pace of the Aston Martin Valkyrie looks a bit off. I've set the Ai to 90 difficulty, not crazy fast but not terrible either. Valkyrie driver Wes King at a dry Le Mans 24h is slower than me in a GT3 McLaren. During a wet race at Interlagos it took him 6 laps to pass me, he even got caught out by 2 GT3 AI drivers. I don't know the real life pace of the Valkyrie, but it looks like Newey made it perform like the current AMR F1 car.
    4. LMDh laptimes spread 3:42 to 3:57. That's quite a huge gap. The top 5 (BMW, Cadillac, Alpine) had 8 seconds between them. This was set on a dedicated server during a private qualifying session.

    Hello,

Yes, this is the correct place for it. Good questions, though. I will do my best to answer them.
    1. Not yet, but it would be a fantastic feature.
    2. That’s likely a bug, and worth reporting in the AI topic: Official General AI Comments & Discussion Topic It could also be that you’re pressing the throttle too late. Best is to press the throttle during the whole sequence of the rolling start. It could also be that the AI strength is set too high, or the aggression.
    3. There’s some skill variation among the drivers, and a few patches ago, drivers also have some sort of personalities. That could be it. Difficult to tell without a video.
    4. See above.
I hope my answers gave you the answers you were looking for. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to leave a reply.

    Thanks Marius.

    1. Wonderful, looking forward to it this will make multi-class so much better :)
    2. The rear-ending happens before I get any controls. Not every time but happened enough to make it annoying. It's a thing I noticed happening in pCars2 as well. Envrinoments in both cases similar. 30 car AI grid in a server with LMP1 + GT3 or LMDh + GT3. The AI is set to 90, and I have no option to set agression in the server settings ? I'll have a go pushing the throttle as soon as the manual control countdown starts.
3+4. I've included a screenshot of a 15 minute dry private qualiyfing at Le Mans difficulty level 90. The server config as well.

Question: Could the pace difference be relatable to this post : Official General AI Comments & Discussion Topic (not having a practice session makes the AI drivers pace in qualifying worse)

    Hi,

I hope so too. Would be fantastic!

You can set the aggression to low, medium, or high. See the picture below. This option is also available in single-player. For dedicated servers, you should be able to set it as well, though I’m not sure where, as I lack experience with dedi servers. If you need help, you can find a dedicated topic in the General Discussion subforum. Personally, I use JR (templates for the win!). AMS2 Dedicated Server Tool / SteamCMD Support

Thank you for the screenshots. That’s quite the gap, yes. I’m certain it’s due to variations in skill levels and the personalities of the drivers. Regarding your question: It could be, but it was so many years ago.

Thanks for the reply, I noticed their existence in single player and hosting from within the game. My question is indeed for the dedicated server, so I will bring those questions to the other thread :)

I've tested the sessions with and without practice; The laptimes in private qualifying remained the same.
