Gonky Racing — Community platform for Automobilista 2

Hi everyone,

I've just added a new feature to Gonky Racing that I've wanted to build for quite some time: My Garage.



Instead of simply showing statistics, every driver now has their own personal garage where all their vehicles are collected automatically based on the races they've completed.

For every car you can quickly see:

• Number of races
• Distance driven
• Wins and podiums
• ⏱️ Best laps and records
• Overall performance
• First and last time you drove it
• Tracks where you've used it

The idea is to create a real motorsport "career" where your history grows naturally as you race.
Over time your garage becomes a complete collection of every car you've driven in AMS2, making it easy to discover your favourite classes, compare your experience across different cars and keep track of your progression.







My goal is to let every driver build their own racing story within Automobilista 2, and My Garage is another step in that direction. There's still much more to come.

One of the most requested features has finally arrived: Global Statistics.

The platform now provides a live overview of Automobilista 2 activity across the Gonky Racing ecosystem.

You can explore statistics such as:

• Recorded races
• Active drivers
• Most raced cars and classes
• Most popular tracks
• Total distance driven
• ⏱️ Laps completed
• Community activity
• Platform growth over time

The goal is to give the community a better picture of what's actually happening across AMS2 and make it easier to discover popular content, trends and activity.

Node Manager Update – Data-Driven Automatic BoP

I've just integrated the new Automatic BoP system into the Gonky Racing Node Manager.

With a single click, the Node Manager downloads the latest recommended BoP values directly from the platform and automatically applies them to your AMS2 dedicated server.

The recommendations are based on more than 40,000 laps recorded by Gonky Racing drivers and are updated every week, allowing the balancing to evolve as more data is collected and remain as representative as possible.

No more spreadsheets or manual calculations—just select the classes you want to balance and apply the latest BoP with a single click.

This makes it much easier for league organisers to build balanced championships while saving a significant amount of preparation time.

There is always a grid up. That is the whole idea.

We run 8 public Automobilista 2 rooms, around the clock, and they are open right now. No sign-up, no password, no waiting for someone to organise a race. Two ways in: search GonkyRacing.com in the in-game server browser, or open the room on our site and hit Join — it launches AMS2 and connects you straight in.

How a day works. Seven of the rooms each hold one class for 24 hours and rotate it through the circuits that actually suit that car — 10 to 16 of them per room, 80 track combinations today alone, with a different circuit coming up roughly every 20 minutes. So you can spend a whole day learning one car across a dozen layouts instead of one lap of everything. Tomorrow all seven change, and it is seven different cars: today it is 70s F1, GT3, P1 prototypes, Copa Montana, street cars, kartcross and rental karts.

And the eighth never changes. The Nordschleife Track Day room is always there, always the Nordschleife, with ten road and track-day classes to pick from: Hypercars, Supercars, GTR 2004, TSI Cup, Caterham Supersport, Lancer Cup, Procar, Super Trofeo 96, Super Trofeo and Porsche Carrera Cup. Roll in, do your laps, roll out.

Found a room sitting empty? Take it. There is no password and nothing to arrange — walk in, and it is yours. Bring your friends, or just start driving: anyone scrolling the server list can drop in on top of you, and that is exactly what it is there for. An empty room is not a closed room, it is an open one waiting.

Every lap you drive is recorded on its own — results, records, Safety Rating and GRating. 6,876 drivers have registered so far and 1,100 of them have raced in the last 30 days. All of it is free.
