Also evident in low downforce spec, at Girona external. Hardly any finess is required. 2nd gear fairly tight righthander onto the front straight heavy throttle abuse is just gobbled up by the C9 with ease. I still enjoy it but seems too docile, not very exciting. 620R on same track is a thrill ride.

I don't think it's a bug, I think it's a matter of calibration. Reiza have just done nothing less than updating physics for how many cars? I don't get the polemic and the negativity all the time. I don't think Group C is 'lifeless'. Now that tyres are improved they are more alive than ever.

When accelerating in the 962 you have that turbo whispering in your ear, the steering is direct and responsive and it just does what you want it to do. I personally don't want a Nissan where you can't touch the throttle. This is Mark Blundell in the much more powerful R90CK, 1100 hp and 1.8 bar boost, doing 380 kph/238 mph on the straight despite the two chicanes.

The Nissan was the easiest car to drive on defaults before...

The tyres had the most longitudinal grip... Which made it the easiest to get out of the corners and brake into them...

A lot of people are having a placebo effect because the FFB is far easier to tune now so it's not as necessary to tune for every car...

How is the FFB easier to tune now?

It took me far less time to find a sweet spot...

People are saying AMS2 is driveable now or car X is driveable now...

All of the cars were driveable before... People just weren't tuning their FFB as part of their car set up or the sidewall bug was causing their FFB to get messed up... Or both...

This is also why so many swear that flatspots weren't a thing before 1.5...

We seem to have a different perception of things. Even though I barely drove the Nissan as it just destroyed the rest of the field unless you were driving on twisty and shorter tracks, I remember it was much wilder than the Corvette e.g. due to the extra power ofc.

Anyways, I'm not concerned at all. V1.5 just dropped and I think this isn't the final version of the game or of any car, really.

Some people fail to recognize the "Evolution" factor in AMS2's W.I.P. nature.

That's a bit of a silly excuse tbh, WIP nature meaning people are supposed to point out things that don't look/feel/seem right. How else will it evolve in the right direction?

I like the way Group C cars drive in 1.5+, more predictable and yet risky if you push them over the edge.

That's interesting because no-one said that people shouldn't point out issues. Many come a little bit across like they're disappointed bc some of the cars do not handle like what they perceive as 'realistic' enough. WIP is no excuse but a reminder, because I don't know why we should be disappointed that cars aren't perfect on day 1 instead of being glad that tyres are being fixed step by step.

Now that a lot of progress has been made you want to look back and just give up? :p

The GT1 Group C have been neutered. Agreeing to that doesn’t mean you hate ams2 but to say it’s not a lot easier is…just denial. And that doesn’t mean a “race car” should be extremely hard is realistic. The Turbo you don’t even feel it kick in now :(

This is one of the reasons I thought the Sauber was broken in my install which is broken in other ways, it doesn't even load...

Just no need to think when driving with it... Just point and shoot...

But are you saying that GT1 has been broken as well? Damn... So many cars that need updates in the coming months...

This is so disappointing... GT1 and Group C were absolutely fantastic before...

I really hope it's a simple bug that Reiza can fix and not something deeper that will take months of investigation...

The physics will be finalised for V1.5 in a few weeks. Wait and see
