I must add though that most of the times your safety rating doesn't reflect how safe you are, but more how safe the people around you are, or not....lol

 

Another area where the ability to change car/class BoP would be useful is to create more mixed class races from different series in the game.

There's several interesting combos like Mini JCW + Caterham SL that are quite close, a small adjustment could make them work for mixed class racing. The game has so many classes, we could create some unique combos.

 

There is nothing more fun in real life and in the sim than chasing down a faster car in a so called slower car ! Every car is different and so it should be ,performance is far beyond just engines power.A good driver will win in any car .

 

I dont agree with you on that one, if u have a car thats for example 2 seconds a lap slower, it can get pretty hard to win, or even come close, with equal material and setup, you get a level playing field, and then the best drivers come up on top.

 

I remember when playing GTR2 (assuming they used real FIA rules) they would penalize the top three finishing cars with weight for the next race. I always thought that was a cool way to normalize things, and it seemed fair.

 

But with 2 really good drivers, the one with the fastest car will win...
