H-pattern shifting

Hoped the h-pattern shifting would be better as in Project Cars 2. Now it seems to be the same.. you can shift without clutch. Wil this be different in the future or did a miss a setting?

 

You have to use the clutch in serveral cars. If you don't use the clutch in these cars when shifting down you hear a grinding noise and the lower gear will not engage.
But I don't know if there is any damage to the drive train yet.

 

Will do more testing.....

 

I think the clutch is required for cars that have H-pattern IRL.
