I tend to get motion sickness easily (it’s sometimes worse on monitor than in vr) so legacy camera with low head movement doesn’t work for me at all, way too bouncy

What I have noticed after a windows and AMS2 reinstallation, is that I had my legacy camera off. I used to run legacy on.

I ve been experiencing fps drops and was quite frustrated without identifying the cause. When I switched to legacy on and 0 head movement my fps were stable again. To be honest I can tell if the legacy on or the head movement to 0 was the fix, but since I stumbled on that thread I m sharing my experience.

I only race in VR, as a side note.

I wish we have could filter out just the vertical movement. With legacy ON and head movement 0 the camera is bolted on, you can see the slightest slip angle. However the vertical shaking is unbearable in some cars/tracks.

If you add head movement it does filter out the vertical bump BUT it adds the horizontal sliding effect that makes it really hard to drive on the edge because you cant tell the slip angle of the car from the camera effects.

The biggest tip if you use this setting, like I do, is either look in the furthest distance. Alternatively, like in a F1, I tend to look at the dashboard and use my periferie upper-sight. Lately I used Kuku's tip to at 5% headmovement, which works for me so far. With the camera bolted on the car I've the feeling I am driving a whole car, instead of two ethnicities; my cockpit and the virtual car. With legacy ON and 0/5% headmovement it feels like a seamless construction.

It’s worth remembering that screen size , single or triple screens use , FOV and distance to monitor will give different results from the perspective of the user , if you have a large screen and sit quite close and have a higher Fov it will seem like the movement is less .

Experiment with adding some vertical g-forces.
