Has it previously run for you?

Could you try removing d3d9.dll from the game folder and see if that helps?

Nope, it'll be something external interfering/not liking how we do things, somehow. We've had issues with MSI Afterburner before, so I'd say that's the most likely culprit, I don't know if it still had services running in the background or something even though you thought you'd closed it.

I wiped my whole system an reinstalled everything. Now it works but still no clue what it could be.

Anyway, thank you for your help

That's really not what we would recommend, we would much prefer we find out what's actually causing the issue. But at least you have it working.

I have a problem when calibrating my accuforce and osw wheel on the base of my accuforce.
When calibrating it does not detecting steering with my osw wheel with SRD-9C display on it?
When i press my throttle footpedal (heusinkvelds) the steering green balk is seeing. it goes to the right in the calibrate window.

BUT ! when i click my formula fanatec rim on my accuforce base its detects steering.
How can this be in this game ? I dont want to drive normal cars with a F1 wheel.....
I tried to unplug things etc but both things enabled i cant get it to work. So i still not have played automobilista.

    Hi,

The Windows update from this week does not seem to like the Java version used with Dynhud.

Until we force a hot fix through, you can get the game working again by removing d3d9.dll from the game folder (rename d3d9_2.dll to d3d9.dll if you wish to keep SweetFX).

This will stop Dynhud from loading in the short term.

Since the update v1.3.7, Automobilista does not start anymore. I run the game and the following message appears: automobilista has encountered a problem and needs to close.
My (old) PC: AMD ATHLON 64 3700 2.2 ghz
    Nvidia GT 220
    Windows XP SP3
    DirectX 9.0c

I reinstalled Windows XP but the problem is still there.
I run the game with the track but no log is generated.
Can I possibly send you the crash report?
    Thank you for your help

So after the latest hotfix AMS crashes after hitting the drive button from the pit menu. Regardless of track or car it always closes with the standard "AMS.exe has crashed" window.
Before the hotfix the game ran completely fine, but even downgrading it back to 1.4.54 didn´t fix it.

    Specs:
    Windows 10 64 Bit
    Intel Core i5-6600K @ 3,5 GHz
    16 GB RAM
    Asus Stryix GTX 960

    Input:
    Logitech G27
