With the current IMSA License/Partnership is there further plans to bring more content to the game? Missing tracks Vehicles, updates to current models, missing GT3, TCR, MX-5 or Porsche Carrera Cup.
The license is for the naming of the races and the logos, not cars and tracks. They said their license can be used as a helping hand for cars and tracks
Yep it can help you get a foot in the door but you still have to do the deals one by one with the IP owner for each piece of content required. Very few series have a joined up F1 style all encompassing commercial rights package they can license to you. As for what will or won't come I can't really give you anything specific there I'm afraid. We have a lot of stuff licensed and in the pipeline and we're working through producing it all and getting it out to you guys but what will actually come, if it comes, and when, will depend on many factors so I wouldn't expect any definite timelines for anything more than 1-2 quarters ahead at most when dev updates drop
I really hope Reiza can bring the Ford GT3, Lexus GT3 and Mid Ohio to the IMSA roster. :fingers crossed:
Speaking of FORD, the GTD would fit nicely, too. I recently drove one (Highway Driving) for a quick test. It was in Track-mode though, so the sounds were amazing!
We only need Miami international autodrome track to fill out the IMSA Porsche Carrera Cup Series. The Detroit Street Circuit to fill out the IMSA WeatherTech Series. Mid-Ohio for the VP Racing Sports Car Challenge and Michelin Pilot Challenge. For the 2027 Calender, Limerock for the Michelin Pilot Challenge. But I would be happy if they at least add Detroit and Mid-Ohio, then we could run three series.
