Here's an updated version of the custom names spreadsheet now with the NAMeS data included at John Ellis' request.

There are a few minor changes to one or two livery names and the sort order.

ETA The file has now been corrected for the Senna glitch referred to below.

Wow, that didn't take long ... I just noticed a glaring error in the list of names I passed on to Romeo Foxtrot. 1986 Lotus has Senna in the #11 Lotus and a duplicate de Cesaris in the #12. Forgive me, Santo Ayrton!

I've just changed the file to include Johnny Dumfries and Ayrton Senna in #11 and #12 respectively.

This was happening to me. Read above my post, it was a symbol that caused the issues.

Yes, thank you. I tracked it down to a rogue ampersand in the .xml

There is an update I received from John Ellis for his NAMeS names in the Copa Classics (both series), the Copa Fuscas, and the HotCars. I have added the data to the Spreadsheet but there are no other changes to the one above if you already have it.
For your convenience, there is a comma delimited text file that can be added easily into whatever system you use to update names without downloading the spreadsheet again.

In F-Retro Gen1, does anyone else have only one entry for North Racing (#69 in ID 58)? Number 68 in ID 57 isn't showing up for me....

    F-Retro Gen 1, #69 is ID 57, John.
It seems #68 was dropped in the last update.

Thanks, Romeo Foxtrot, for the excellent spreadsheet. Here is an updated version with all of my recent changes through NAMeS v4.1d.

All AI-attribute values in the NAMeS Developer Pack v4.1d are set to 1, and all .xml files are prefixed with "Temp" (e.g., "TempF-V12"). Open with Notepad++, edit the AI attributes, rename the file, and enjoy!

Hello, for a multiclass race with custom AI file, is there a specific way to do it? or is it just enough to have custom AI files for each class? Thanks for any help.

Works if you have a custom file for each class.

Everytime an update came, it mess my custom grid... I really don't find the problem in that two simple class file, names seem correct to me... but an error have to be, because AI are not loaded correctly. Thanks for help.

The </blue_flag_conceding is missing a closing angle bracket in each driver in both files.

Can we all just admit the truth and rename this thread, “Who can Stump Romeo Foxtrot?”

Not a big thing, but it would be a nice addition if the given car name showed up on the result screen in races instead of the generic car name if you have a custom AI file.

    Example: I have a F1 1994 livery set for Formula V12.
Schumacher's car is named Benetton Ford #5 within the XML and the AI file.
But on result screen, only driver name is shown, the car is still called Formula V12 for all drivers.

    Hello,
When we choose more AI than available liveries, the game duplicates some liveries. I wanted to know if it was possible to know which liveries the game duplicates so that I can assign them a custom name in the custom AI file. I take the example of the 1986 Opalas which have only 20 liveries (same for stockcar 1999 and Opala 1979). If I select 30 AI, is it possible in a custom AI file, to enter real names for duplicate liveries?
