During the LFM platform's beta period, the event generated a lot of excitement. As a Chinese player, I organized a group of over 100 AMS2 players, with at least 50 actively participating in LFM events regularly. However, after the beta ended, LFM's event format and entry requirements became very strange. For example, the most popular GT4 class is in a multiple-class racing, and matches were only held during late-night hours for us, making it impossible for us to participate. We provide feedback to LFM on Discord. They organized a special race during our afternoon time, though this was also an inactive period for Chinese players (the most active times should be in the evening). Despite this, I still organized nearly 20 participants. However, after the race, when we continued to inquire with LFM about increasing the GT4 events, they ignored our requests.
Meanwhile, less popular car classes had races scheduled too frequently, with one every hour, yet most of these events were canceled due to insufficient participation. The GT3/LMDH LMP2 class requirements (SR) are also too demanding, making it difficult for newcomers to join and resulting in less and less players to join in.

Most players are forced to only participate in G40 race, but the single car and weekly track change made the races incredibly boring.

Additionally, AMS2's damage system is overly harsh. Minor accidents or low-speed collisions can result in severe damage, especially for formula cars. In some cases, a significant crash would prevent me from safely driving my car to the pits, effectively wasting all efforts for that race.

Moreover, due to incomplete online connectivity, strange bugs occasionally occurred. For example, I experienced an issue where another player's rear wing fell off without any collision (likely caused by their game processing it incorrectly), even though we were some distance apart. Another time, my game showed the start of a race and I began accelerating, but others' games didn't show the same, leading to me being banned for 3 days by LFM without any investigation or explanation. This irresponsible approach to resolving issues is truly frustrating.

What's most discouraging is that the group of over 100 players has lost hope in the game due to LFM's perfunctory and lack of responsibility. Only about 10 people remain active, while the majority have shifted to other platforms like LMU, ACC, or iRacing. I'm also on the verge of giving up.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately, event formats, scheduling, and participation requirements on LFM are entirely managed by their team. The best course of action would be to report these concerns directly to LFM via their Discord server: Join the Low Fuel Motorsport Discord Server!. Engaging with their team there may provide more clarity on their decisions and any potential adjustments in the future.

As for the AMS2 damage model and online connectivity issues, we highly encourage you to report any bugs or technical problems in the official AMS2 Bug Reports section here: Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post) & Troubleshooting - Automobilista 2 following the proper format to ensure your concerns are addressed in the most efficient way possible. The AMS2 team is always working on improving the experience and your detailed reports will help in this effort.

    Best regards,
    Marius

    Hi @Icy
There are great alternatives to LFM. Please check out this thread and consider joining with your friends. There are great car/track combos with different time zones and the community is great and still growing. Sign up to the website, join their Discord and get started. :)

Thank you, it looks good. However, I roughly checked the schedule and found that there are still very few races in the evening time (UT12:00-14:00) when we have the most players. Most of the races are in the middle of the night and during the day. I wonder if it is possible to hold some races in the evening time for players in our time zone? This can definitely attract more local players to participate.

I think the RCO guys would be open to make something like that happen. You can join the Discord and talk to them directly, would be the best approach.
