Just noticed that the FWD cars are much more realistic than the RWD ones.

I think I'm the most to blame. It was stupid of me to think that I was going to get a worthwhile conversation here.

You got your chance. Some people gave quite elaborate answers (shout-out to oez, azaris and crimson), but you decided to not elaborate on the issue when more details were requested and started insulting others.

    This one's on you mate.

I think the main takeaway being that the best simulation reference is reality. The deeper you dive into any given simulator's physics, the more you'll find serious flaws and limitations. The ultimate established reference for simulation (to compare to) does not exist.

Even with RL video reference, we often don't have data to tell the whole story. (GT tire grip levels under various conditions, for example). Even tire manufactures report certain aspects of tire performance they don't fully understand.

    Addition by me:
I actually find its driving model pretty good for what it is...MILES better than 2019. And without driving aids even this is definetly no "arcade" title anymore.

Well don't shoot me, but I've been driving a lot of AC lately  the road cars are what get me in.

AC is great! I don't really play it anymore, but it's the ultimate sandbox with a lot of high quality mods out there.

AC doesn't have to be bad for AMS2 to be good :).
