Well, if you want to get some practice in before the official implementation of skinning, it's already possible.
I hope they've got a way of creating wireframe photoshop templates from the models like Project Cars 2 had (but judging by how basic the included liveries are they might not). Saves so much time v.s. having to just guess at everything I spent so much time skinning for PC2, can't wait to get my hands on all the AMS2 goodies
I also really hope they provide templates and a nice easy way to import those textures. Would be good not having to work with those dds files. Some textures seems to have the same templates they had in AMS 1 like the V12. I am already having some fun testing them!!
You can go online but only you will see your custom livery. Everyone else will see whatever livery you replaced, unless they also have your livery installed.
Oh cool that is not too bad so if my mates all had them we could set up a nice team livery and race as that.
Yep, that would work fine. Also, some busy bees have already made skin packs. Check this out: Formula V10 Smokers Pack
Hi @mcoak That's available to edit via backing program or you already mess with the files? @Wolfgang Herold you've access the files too? How can I be in this beta program...?
We dont have much more news about how to implement customized liveries. AMS2 is going to be a very nice sim, but we do need customized skins to make the game even better. Some people are able to implement their skins by replacing original liveries, meanwhile others like me are stuck at this point. I am desesparetly waiting for a livery tool with all ams2 templates.
