    Hello,

I tried searching the forum to see if there was a similar issue to mine, but I couldn't find anything. I apologize, I am not very good at using forums.

I am having an issue with my pedal calibration. I use a Logitech Driving Force GT, and I cannot get the throttle to recognize its full range of motion in-game. While the calibration screen perfectly tracks the full travel from 0% to 100%, once I am in-game/on track, it registers 100% input when the physical pedal is only pressed about halfway down.

Here is what I have already tried so far:

    • I have calibrated and recalibrated multiple times.

    • I deleted the default.controllersettings.sav file to let the juego regenerate a clean config, but the issue persists.

    • I tried reassigning the throttle input multiple times using different percentages of physical travel during the mapping process, but it remains unchanged.
I am using the latest available Logitech legacy driver (version 5.10) on Windows 10. In the past, I managed to get it working without really knowing how I fixed it, but this time nothing seems to work. This problem happens exclusively with AMS2.

I really hope you can help me out. I love AMS2, but this issue is completely ruining the experience for me.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. Have you checked the Logitech Driver that 'Combined Pedals' are unchecked.

    Thank you,
    Marius

I also tried toggling the 'combined pedals' mode on and off in the Logitech profiler. I tried calibrating it both ways as well, but the problem persists—it doesn't recognize the full range of motion. I have no idea what the issue could be.

Curiously enough, it does register the full range of motion on the calibration screen inside AMS2 (Automobilista 2), which means the hardware itself is working perfectly

Does this happen in AMS2 only or also other sims you drive? You could try 'Custom Wheel, Legacy or Generic wheel' with 'Separate' pedals toggled on. See picture below. You've to rebind some or all of your peripherals, though.

Yes, this only happens with AMS2; the pedals work normally in other games. In fact, Automobilista 2 even recognizes the full travel/range in the calibration screen.

Additionally, I tried what you suggested: I created a profile with a "custom" wheel and separate pedals, and I also tried using the "Legacy" option, but the same issue persists. The throttle reaches 100% when the physical pedal is only at half-travel.

I also tried reinstalling the Logitech 5.10 driver. I also tried reinstalling the game.

    Nothing has worked so far.

Thanks for messaging back. Do you by any chance have mods installed? If so, remove them or/and any left-overs.

I previously installed some texture mods. Even though I've deleted them, the problem is still there. My next step is to perform a completely fresh installation by deleting all game-related folders to clear any leftover configurations. That said, does Steam retain or backup any settings in a way that might interfere?

I'm starting to lose hope and feel like this issue might not have a fix, but I love AMS2 and really want to keep playing.
