Having 40+ cars in the field with the same physics as the player is a pipe dream, that will never ever happen. The AI just has to feel and look like they have proper physics and behave in a believable way.

Ray tracing, meh, AMS2 looks amazing even without it and is frankly the best looking sim on the market even when it is 6 years old, there is no better looking racing game still even if GT7 looks great.

And we pretty much reached peak realism with physics too, years ago.

Anything that the current engine struggles with or cannot do, people saying "that'll never happen" with respect to certain features are the same people who told me in the 1990s that we'd never be able to race online against people in other countries .... they were wrong, very wrong :)

The only thing stopping Reiza ultimately is their own vision with the tools provided, so whenever the next AMS comes out I can guarantee you one thing - it will be very good, that's what this company does.

Whichever engine will be for Reiza's next game i truly hope it will NOT be Unreal Engine because it is just a blurry smeary travesty. And the worst engine for VR on the market.

yeah, no idea what a new title would bring. The fundamentals are great. Make the driving feeling as good as they can , career mode and lots of tracks and cars and it will have all we need for 10 years

I love AMS2. It has the best driving feel of any sim in my opinion definitely the best ffb. The choice of content is unbelievably good. The main problem is the multiplayer element. The multiplayer is peer to peer. Which causes all sorts of problems. It’s like something from the dark ages. AMS1 has client server multiplayer which is so much better. If we had that for AMS2 you would see a lot more people racing on things like LFM etc and the community would grow I think. It’s the only thing that’s lets it down a bit. The other problem is that ‘YouTubers’ like jimmy broadbent and jardier don’t play it. If they suddenly started playing and said it’s really good etc you’d see everyone start coming over to AMS2. It’s what happened with LMU

YouTubers playing a game has never translated into sales.

Reiza just need to squeeze Madness Engines to have reliable dedicated server working. The only thing that brother me in AMS2 are stutters and issues in MP Peer to Peer.
