Massive problems recently

The game went so well all the time, now i only have troubles, i fear its on my side.

Running Linux Manjaro, Moza R5. Using boxflat app. Game keeps crashing with several Proton versions.
Not enough: It keeps resetting the inputs. So after reboots or restarts, the game forgets the inputs.
The crashes happen in two games : AMS2 and Titan Quest 2. all other games run fine, i can play quake3 champions for hours for instance. Its so strange.

Happened before, but now its really really bad.

Not sure what to do now, being a bit offended

Do you have any tips for me?

Does it make sense to wipe the settings folder?
Didnt do that for some patches, so that could help, i've read about miracles
Could also do a complete reinstall overnight, but would like to avoid.

Edit: I just deleted the settings folder as a whole and did a file verification.
Lets see...

Edit2: Just drove a race vs ai. Everything ist fine. Minimal settings adjustments.


Edit 3: Just drove some mp matches. everything fine. no crash.

Seems like deleting the settings-directory was the solution.
