What's the tag extension? .MED?

 

Yes, .MED and they have the same naming convension as the Replay's.

 

What I noticed during my MP session is the game is freezing/ huge lag when other(s) Driver(s) Collide ( medium to heavy) with non destructible object(s) or other(s) car(s)... This appears on the replay as well if you are Sideways of the event, at least it is more obvious to notice

I have seen the same thing in our league races to the point that when i see one I wait to see who crashed etc … I wonder if we turn off damage completely if it will effect this? We normally run damage on ‘performance impacting’ …

Can you tell what the damage settings are in these? I do remember the cleanest public lobby raceing I had (no lag or freezes, It's the vid i posted a while back) had damage OFF...

 

Just did a ranked race , 9 racer,.20 min no mandatory pitstop, allowed car setup. I think no dammage

Big freeze on lap 1 with resynch after a 2 sec freeze .. 3 or 4 cars heavely crashed in front of me
2 laps later 2 cars crashed in front of me .. medium freeze without re-synch.

Then until the END of the race 5 peoples retired to stand. At each off them a small freeze occured whitout re-synch

 

Did another 20min, around 15 cars, no AI as the one before, on Monza, mixed GT3 and GTE, setup allowed, full damage ON, non ranked. Rain at.mid race

No freeze on multiple crash neither resigned players.

Still this annoying tire change logic . I selected rain tire for pitstop, but when I ve pit in, the team decided tire was still good enough ( I guess the team manager décided the track wasn t wet enough for then and didn't change Them)

... Ruined my Strategy.

 

My guess is something related to ranked point calculation that runs in the main thread or so.

Dunno if they have a asynchronous process where this function should be moved ..

Maybe I m totally wrong with my guess

Looks like ranked servers are the problem guess that's why there's hardly any ranked servers hosted

The pattern is pretty clear . RKD == issues.

Did you noticed crashs or résignation when freeze occur ?
