    I haven't had time to focus on the ever important car spec data that much, but now I noticed something important.

    Copa Classic B Fiat Uno is RWD when it should be an FWD.

    BMW M4 GT4 (AMS2: 131 L vs Source: 125-127 L)

    Going off the BMW manufacturer website this vehicle has a fuel tank size of 125 litres however they also state that this could slightly vary depending on BoP. ACC has this set at 127 litres.


    Driver onboard adjustable ARB's

    The Cadillac DPi-V.R and it's cousin (Dallara P217) do not feature this onboard option in real life.

    DOR

    BMW M4 GT4 (AMS2: 720 vs Source: 480)
    ACC and R3R both have this set at 480 degrees. This is closer to it's M6 GT3 sister which has a DOR of 540. I will check iRacing when the next test day is available.


    Please extend this logic to Group C when you have a chance as they only have two compounds in real life..

    Thanks mate. Yeah for sure from the little I have seen today. On paper it looks very impressive. Nursing a little injury + time constrained at the moment however I hope to get a little run over the coming days..

    As of version 1.2.0.2 here is a updated list of errors on the vehicle selection menu..

    These vehicles do not have onboard driver adjustable ARB's in AMS2 however the Ui says they do..

    GTE Tyre Grip

    Firstly I really enjoy these cars however I am seeing some very unrealistic times due to excessive amounts of grip available. We currently have two extra tyre compounds compared to real life which I presume will be disabled at some stage like it was for GT3/4. Question is what slick tyre will be switched off; the soft or the hard..?

    add: I was wrong about the extra compounds..

    For my first run I ran the BMW M8 GTE at Nurburgring Veedol circuit with 130 litres of fuel it was simply too easy especially for how aggressive I was driving and with low TC. I then went to a test day with 20 litres of fuel with the default setup and on my first push lap I went into the 1:48's.. It will be fairly easy to go into 46/47's with a decent warmup and some setup changes. Last time GTE ran at Nurburgring I think they were in the 1:54's. I know the GTE's we have in AMS2 follow IMSA wich use a Michelin tyre therefore if you look at the Laguna Seca TT lap times drivers are already registering 1:15's which is on par with DPi real life times. Last years real life qualifying time at Laguna was a 1:21.4.

    As much as I enjoy driving GTE's this fast I presume this will be addressed later. Not that it bothers me; with the recent BoP changes and major engine output changes to the P1 AJR Honda I think once these tyres are sorted it maybe time for Reiza to reset the TT leader boards.. Something they have been alluding to for the last couple of major releases..

    nice info thanks.. Has it always been like that..? I thought i read a while back it was one compound.. :confused:

    add: an article from 2020 suggests they can run different compounds on each corner.. Interesting and sorry I got it wrong..

    I wonder if Reiza will add the 2021 medium tyre and how they will address the soft slick grip..

    Just dropping by to thank Coanda publicly for putting all of this together, and showing what a sloppy job I´m doing of keeping the vehicle UI info :oops: I think one can tell I hate doing this :p The data needs to be manually inserted into a separate UI stat file instead of being picked up automatically from the physics like in AMS1, which creates plenty of room for mistakes.

    I´ve amended most if not all of the UI info reports now, and will go over the engine output data in time for the next big update. I´ve also addressed some of the innacuracies with onboard brake bias / roll bars and tire selection on the cars themselves.

    With regards to GTE, it is indeed the case that they have the 3 tire options in IMSA. The medium tire is there, although I´ve seen reports it´s appearing blank on the UI spinner (still to follow up on that report).

    In terms of grip and lap times, I don´t think they´re particularly innacurate - you´re always going to get a couple of seconds over real times, specially in TT mode where grip and conditions are atypically ideal. Laguna may be an outlier there, but that may also be at least partially due to somewhat lenient track limits as elsewhere the lap times seem to stack up reasonably. With that said there has been an adjustment to longitudinal slip specifically on GTE & GT3 tires for the complementary update today, although I´m unsure that will reflect much on potential lap times.

    Yeah and the soft tire is shown as the medium one, so there is something swapped in the tire names probably. :D

    Yeah, nice one @Coanda. It never ceases to amaze me how much talent and effort the sim community contributes; ffb files, skins, data gathering even full blown apps like Simhub, SRS and CrewChief to name but a few.

    On behalf of all lazy / stupid people (like me) that benefit from all this great stuff... thanks to all the creators. :)

    Nothing here was ever intended to be personal or against AMS2. It all kicked off by wanting to know what vehicles had power steering and what that exercise morphed into was many hours searching for historic technical regulations and translating hundreds of Portuguese documents looking for gold nuggets..

    I am very happy that it did go this way because I enjoyed it and learnt a lot along the way whilst keeping my mind off the sh!tstorm we are all going through..

    Hopefully some of these technical regulation findings are of some use..

    I'm sorry matey I don't think it looks much like the F2002. It has many similar features to the FW22 and as you rightly say it features the FW22 steering wheel. I am happy to remove the TF101 tag as I only saw some similarities around the aero in front of the rear tyre..

    Formula Retro V8 - Unless the Ui is wrong this vehicle is between 75-100 KG lighter than all other Formula Retro's in it's class and does not align with vehicle weights from this era.


    Engine Output


    Volkswagen Fusca HC1-2 - From my research I believe the Volkswagen Gol ran a 1.6 liquid cooled engine whilst the Fusca ran a 1.6 L air cooled engine. Currently the Gol and the Fusca have the same engine output. I believe the Fusca should be slightly less.
