Hello all,
This is a 2-for-1 video, combining the ABS Enabled and Disabled setups in 1 video.

The ABS setup is on the more aggressive side of race-safe (mainly brake balance F/R being quite rearward), If you follow the suggested adjustments section, you should be able to fine tune it either way, should you feel the need.

So something a little different. While working on some content for the 2005 stuff, my Youtube suggestions gave me a gold mine. I saw a real race at Cascavel in the Unos. This race was entirely capable of being replicated in AMS 2, as well as, the real weather data actually worked. This culminated in the following race. Yes, this real race ran during a thunderstorm and it inspired me to run a similar race in AMS 2, albeit a fraction of the time. I've also linked to the actual race in my bio.

After watching this, it is no wonder that Senna was a rain specialist.

 

The Ginetta G40 Cup setup video in place of the postponed BMW 2002 setup video.

The G40 Cup class is the AMS2 equivalent of the Mazda MX5. It gives extremely good close racing and is very much a momentum class. Small adjustments can give you big gains in these cars

Decided to recreate yesterday's sprint race in AMS 2. It actually did a good job of creating an insanely difficult track to race. Plus the AI is just next level. I used the time of the sprint followed by the real weather option going the full 24 laps (which honestly isn't so bad). Also used a custom AI file and skin pack.

 

This GroupA BMW M3 is very quickly becoming my favourite car in AMS2 (of those that I have used). I'll be sad when I have to move onto the next vehicle.

This is a test race while development of the race setup continues. There were some small adjustments made to it between the Road Atlanta race and this one, aimed mainly at drivability and consistency over a stint rather than out-and-out lap time. Even so, I think the changes have meant that the AI strength should have probably gone up 1 point for this race.
Things with the setup are progressing really nicely, and it's now time to start the validation work on it. I hope to have this completed soon, and once that is done, I'll be getting onto the setup video itself.

Hopefully you may find this interesting if you are experiencing problems regarding a problem with Endurance racing when it comes to racing on slicks in the wet against the A.I. and sped up timescaling, hope you find it useful!

What a brilliant couple of weeks it's been. I've loved my time with this car and racing this class, I'm a little sad to have to put it down and move onto the next car now.

This is similar to that challenge that is on Assetto Corsa that has the Audi going through a country side. This was hectic.

In other words, this was AC Rally at home.
