Group C, Nurburgring Veedol, 15 min quali, 60 min race, forced pit for new boots, max/medium damage, no assists, h-pattern shifter manual clutch, 100% AI. 30 AI- Stock Group C mixed with the Group C Mod (all combined into 1 group- The group C mod has been modified to be slower to be back markers and lap traffic late). Patch version 1.6.8


In quali it was raining and my pace was off. I only managed 7th. The video is just the race
On moist track that dried up fast, the Porsche 962c (in a very appropriate livery on St. Patricks Day!) was a rocket and I won the race despite pressure from the C9.

It was a very good race, the AI was great- competitive and clean.

 

Max AI still the benchmark. Cutting some slack given it's a mod track and, as most are aware, AI difficulty GREATLY depends on the particular car/track combo.

 

Automobilista 2 / The Indy '23 Pocono: The HARDEST Qualifying EVER?

Can I actually get a timed lap?!
I took the beautiful Indy '23 to the legendary "Tricky Triangle" of Pocono for some AI racing action in Automobilista 2. But man, I was in for a shock.
The AI felt untouchable, and I struggled to even put together a single clean lap.

Watch the drama unfold as I push my setup to the absolute limit in the very last seconds of qualifying. Is the AI just too strong, or can I pull of a miracle on my final lap?

For those of you that say AMS2 is the most fun sim out there - YOU'RE RIGHT! To anyone that disagrees - Exhibit A. I'm not talking about a casual, "oh yeah, that was a good/fun race". I'm talking about a race where you have to be rolled out of your rig and all you can think to say is, "holy $^@!!". Without exaggeration, this was the most rewarding race I've ever taken part in (thousands of races over the years) and this will forever be known as, "The Race". Whenever they figure out how to put this race in pill form, the world will be hooked on the new drug...

Automobilista 2 / POLE PACE in a slow 1993 F1 TYRELL! 110 AI Suzuka MYSTERY

How is this even possible? Taking the Tyrell 021 to Pole Position against Damon Hill's Williams in AMS2! I set the AI to 110 difficulty, but what happened next was a total mystery!
In this video, we're at legendary Suzuka with the 1993 Formula 1 grid. While the car feels amazing and the engine sounds are absolutely crisp and brutal, the AI seems to struggle big time.

Watch as I battle for the top spot and witness the strange AI behaviour when the hit traffic. Is the 110 AI in AMS2 broken on some tracks, or was the Tyrell just a hidden beast?
