Yes OBS is good I use "Davinci resolve" for editing free versions
Just a bit of fun /abuse/bad driving /:testing AI scaling online and learning brake points /gears twiddling/etc,

 

A YouTube account for storage and linking is a must I imagine too? I’m playing around with OBS and the old Mini Coopers at Nords at the moment. Just working out what HUD elements to have on and minimising my head movement as I play in VR.

Obs settings (for me) 60fbs cant go higher I think. Bitrate settings in output 5200 kbps 1920x1080
It should record 7.1 audio but cant get it to so stereo recordings here.
Edited to mp4 in Davinci ("Minitool movie maker"editor (free)) also bit easier than davinci..
May try Slobs that "I drive Deamons" mentioned not heard of that but sounds easy.
Yes hud elements I used telemetry in posted vid toggle out tyres and then I can see power output and pedal input.
C9 puts out 100-200 bhp with lightest sniff of throttle hence very low revs at start, little more than half gas more than a gt3!! car a blast.

As I'm pulling my hair out while trying to put my first ever video together and cursing myself for thinking two laps of the Nordschleife would be a good place to start....I thought I'd pop in here and say I have a new found respect for 'Content Creators' and anyone who has contributed to this thread.

 

You'll get there mate! Nords is a tuff place to start indeed, but so rewarding when you get it right
