Anyone remember this, the sticky tarmac bug? Seems its re-surfaced after the update. I'll be making a bug report on it shortly. Its intermitent, but its definately back. Checked and validated files, all fine, anyone else getting this after the update?

 

One lap of the Nordschleife in the newly released PORSCHE RSR 3.0 from 1974 driven with clutch, H-Shifter and VR headset. Unlimited thanks to Steelcast27 for the baseline setup. See his comprehensive setup video

The changes I made from his setup were to increase the number of clutches to 10 as I like to rotate the car with a heavy right foot and an occasional bit of left foot brake. I also dropped the front ARB by one click and upped the rear by two clicks (one click may be more sensible but two is more fun). Otherwise I moved the brake bias forward a couple of percent and increased the brake power to 90% as well as increasing the top speed by changing 5th gear to a 1:1 setting and upping 2nd through 4th by a click.

It's my Birthday race, and despite asking the guys to let me win, they're having none of it. It's round 6 of the All Nations Sim Leagues Automobilista 2 GTE Championship at Kyalami. In VR using a HP Reverb G2 and on a DOF Reality H3 motion rig.

If your like some and have setup your rig and adjusted the Throttle sensitivity to your liking already from the default of 50 in game, then probably no need to see.

If however you are like me and some others and took this setting as 50 normal,( EDIT or accurate for vehicle/sim response)
-50 less sensitive and +5o more sensitive you may benefit from checking.
(the way the scale works is correct )
If after testing and adjusting and you find an improvement or not esp in high powered cars, feedback can be left here #1 for discussion and devs. Stating with car used and pedals you have. ...EDIT An internal Issue has now been confirmed #418 to the response of sim/car to your pedal input regardless of pedal quality load cell or potentiometer. or cost. Tests and feedback confirm that effects are whilst driving and stationary. A setting of between 18 and 35 to your liking, can be seen as a temporary workaround/fix
