Ai straight line speed test 120/100 and survival test for me. Just for the hell of it.

Now heres an interseting thing! Anyone else notice this?
I could be wrong but, porpoising actually seems to be happening!
But the way to induce it is not what you'd think...

 

How NOT to drive the Formula Ultimate Gen 2:

 

The new GEN2 model of Formula Ult I actually find easier to drive than Gen 1. I think the slightly earlier braking has to do with it.

 

I always love a bit of GPLaps' content. The passion shines through, and his voice is somewhat calming too, lol.

Regarding your issues with the AI not pitting correctly, I have found that it mainly depends on the settings. Putting just "Mandatory Pitstop" on normally doesn't work but instead leads to the AI pitting on the penultimate lap or not at all nonsense. However, putting "mandatory" off and instead setting "Tyre Wear" and "Fuel Consumption" to the correct relative values matching your racing distance, e.g. 3x for a third of the real distance, leads to very good results. I am doing this with my 50 % 2000 CART Custom Championship, and so far, it's been great, the AI uses different pit stop strategies and comes in at reasonable times."
