I definitely agree, though I was disappointed that he had to include a few snide remarks about Reiza at the start. Not really needed nor necessarily a balanced reflection on what happened.

 

If he’s wrong, what happened?

 

However it seems he was right after all,and moet of us know how toxic this community (or any other games community) can be, especially when you point out issues with said game, how the dev(s) responded back in the day wasn't right, and that's not the only time tbf, kudos to jimmy for giving it another go, this could really help with the player numbers, which we all benefit from in the long term.

However since a Reiza dev was quick to respond on his previous ams2 video, it would be a decent thing to respond now as well to his video, maybe with a small apology as he seems to be right back then.

 

I think a YouTuber like Jimmy should simply ignore any toxic fanboys. As you said, they exist in any community - but that's not what I was commenting on anyway.

From memory, Renato's gripe with the infamous video from a year ago, was about that harm that an influencer can do to a small business like Reiza, when they write off a sim that's still early in it's development cycle, based on a 10 minute stint in a single car.
That's fair enough for me, and while I'm sure Renato understands how YouTube channels (businesses) like Broadbent's work, I don't have an issue with calling out the damage it causes.

 

Maybe it isn't about calling out the damage it causes, but the way it was called out....
