The default setup had major oversteer, both off-throttle and when on the power. Once I dialled that out, things would get more comfortable.

15 minutes sprint race at Donington Park, National layout.
- Authentic fuel consumption and tire wear.
- Full Damage, medium scale.
- 2X Tyre wear and fuel consuption
- 100% AI, high aggression.
- No qualy, random grid position (started P4)

Finally, I've tamed the beast!!

Trying to survive 15 min driving the Caterham 620R. It is a handful of a car. Managed to survive for 15 min plus 1 one lap, but not with some action during the race.
I've played a bit with the setup, to make the car more manageable. Essentially I've stiffened the suspension a bit, cause the weigh balance was all over the place, making it difficulty to drive. Also opened the differential, to help with acceleration when exiting the corners. The car has a tendency to snap over-steer at corner exit, so to counter that I've reduced the toe (make it towards a positive value) a little bit.

Tires have a really strict temperature window, and if it goes slightly above the optimal green color, the car will start to slide. I'm not sure if this is true in real life, but that's how it works on the sim. To balance that I've also increased the pressures a little bit, but nothing more than 2 clicks.

With those changes I was able to keep the car on track (at least for the most part of the race) and completed the race without a spin.

The race was really fun, AI has really improved with the latest update. In that regard something really interesting happened during the race and one of the AI drivers retired from the race in an unusual manner.

Overall this was a really fun race and the process to learn this track and car combo was really rewarding. I hope you enjoy this video, I've put some effort to edit it a bit. The editing is getting more refined, and we have a custom thumbnail this time.
