I measured the HF8. The widest part of the seat of the HF8 is about 43cm. The widest part of the backrest of the HF8 is about 41cm. You will have problems with this and will not be happy :( This HF8 mat is better suited for wider seats

I'll check this evening but I'm almost sure it's too wide...

    Once again thank you Daniel!

Hi Daniel, I measured the seat and the HF8 should fold about 2-3 cm. for each side, both on the seat and on the backrest; do you think it's possible?

Found one of these on Amazon Warehouse in as new condition for £164 so it should be here in the next couple of hours. Looking forward to giving it a go while we wait for 1.6

Hello! I don't know if this will work for your seat. The problem is that these vibration motors are sewn into the mat, 4 in the seat and 4 in the back. For example, in the seat of the mat at the very front there is a vibration motor on the left and a vibration motor on the right. Look at the exact positions of these vibration motors on the mat (there are videos about this at NLR) and then compare it to your seat. Then you should see if it is possible to use the HF8 on your seat without encountering problems

I see you're really keen on this part, I feel the same way!
but it won't be long until I have one, November 29th at the latest I will click the order button,
    black friday offer or not.
e.g. Maybe risk the warranty, open carefully, pay attention to the cable route,
remove a 4-6 cm strip from the middle and sew it back together?
Or, make a template out of cardboard with the dimensions
    Product dimensions: 44cm (L) X 6cm (W) X 113cm (H) or 17.3inches (L) X 2.4inches (W) X 44.5 inches (H) , Simulate the 6 cm with a pillow or something else
and mark the places where the engines are, test it.
I'm also thinking about removing the motors and then installing them in my seat.
The advantage would be that I place the motors where I want them.
Where there is a will, there's a way!!!

ideas to take into consideration... I made a template on paper and it is actually larger, I'm not familiar with dismantling objects and I would certainly do some damage.
Thanks for the suggestions but at this point I'm forced to abandon the idea of buying it, too bad... it would have been an important help with VR!!!

My friend install in his small bucketseat like you.
He compressed HF8's cushion to fit the size.

does it work well? is it comfortable when compressed? so from what you tell me the motors are not close to the edge, can the cushion bend easily??

I'm sorry for you for giving up.
Maybe the solution is a new seat?
I couldn't wait until Black Friday, so I just ordered one.

    YYYYYPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
My HF8 has just arrived and is still very cold from delivery.
After I ordered the HF8, I thought maybe I should
I also measure the seat and guess what?, my seat is only 34cm at the narrowest point
    in the kink!
But no problem, the HF8 fits perfectly and is only 35cm at the bend.
The stated 44cm is at the widest point, the shoulders.
So there's nothing wrong with you ordering one yourself.
    greetings micha

    hi, you're welcome!
I'm thrilled with the HF8, I got mine for €199 including shipping.
    It's all worth the fun!!!
As you have probably already read on the internet, less is more!
fewer effects come across more clearly.
Since I basically drive without driving aids (ABS, traction control, etc.),
I can leave them out straight away.
Apart from that, I already have these effects on my V3 pedals and they work well.
I concentrate more on the road (curbs, etc.) or the effects that my wheel (Fanatec) doesn't
comes across as e.g. switch gear.
I have a very good ffb costom file where you can feel almost every stone on the track,
In conjunction with the HF8, it's just great and there's still room for improvement, thanks to HF8 + Simhub.
The fine-tuning will definitely take some time, but it's a good toy for the waiting time for 1.6.
if you order one, save yourself time and install simhub straight away,
    runs very well with ams2.
I licensed it straight away after testing it for an hour.
Just a little tip: don't forget to reboot after installing.
You won't be asked to do so, you can test the engines but you won't be able to connect to the game.
If you are interested I can upload a profile after fine-tuning.
    greetings micha

hi micha, thanks for the advice...

I just purchased HF8 on Amazon for less than 200 euros (new) and it should be delivered tomorrow!!!:D

I will definitely do as you told me and... can I ask you to send me your SimHub settings???

I have never used SimHub and I would like to have a definitely good base to start from,
as long as it's not a problem for you!!!;)

    Anyway, thanks for everything!!!!:)
