    Formula V10 Gen.2 at Spielberg: Ai cannot drive into pitlane. Just before the pitentry they abort and go back on track.
    Formula Ultimate at Hockenheim GP: Ai crashes into pitentry.

    I think it depends on the car. I can keep up with them in some of the cars. But there are definitely some, particularly those of the torque oversteer variety, where it's hard not to lose a few car lengths to the AI there, particularly because the AI all nail that exit perfectly every single lap, no matter how sensitive the car is on the throttle for the human.

    In fact, the almost complete lack of errors (other than occasional outright crashes in certain classes) is pretty much my least favourite thing about the AI. Lap after lap, side by side, never missing a braking point, never losing the back end even slightly, never losing any time despite their constant jostling. I hope this is something that can be resolved further down the line. I'm seeing no indication so far that the expanded personalities has improved this aspect.

    Earlier on in the piece you could dial up the aggression and be entertained by AI losing it here and there, but you are right, nowadays unforced AI errors are rarer than rockinghorse ****.

    I've seen a few AI errors in the last couple of days, mostly last turn at Brands Indy where they just run a little wide and some get on the gravel and spin across the track.

    AI do seem a little reluctant to cover the inside of most corners of the tracks which make overtaking on the inside a little too easy, last turn at Brands Indy is just too easy to pass two or three vehicles all the time for one.

    An other issue is that if you get side by side with them they do that annoying swerve away from you rather than a more controlled manouver.
    They also still seem to back off too much after you pass them.

    I did have a real blast at Daytona in the rain with the Trucks, best AI race for years.

    The 'annoying swerve away' you speak of is very annoying. It's such an eye soar and seems so robotic. I really hope there are plans to refine this. I have been watching a handful of videos over the past few days and this type of reaction is really abrupt. I can see a DPI preparing to overtake a GT3 and rather than slowly transitioning to either the inside or outside, it will just perform that robotic swerve to another part of the track and then overtake.

    Have done a couple of races now since latest update and the AI still behaves the same as before. They drive in groups and go side by side for ages, blocking the street.
    To avoid that maybe the devs should start giving different names to all the drivers of the different classes, each with with his own ability, in which some are really fast and others extremely slow.

    Edit: My last race was with Formula V_12 in Spa 93, 20 laps. 25 AI (complete driver field) at 95%.
    Later on, I watched the replay and saw that the field was divided in groups up to 6 cars till the end, doing their typical going side by side thing, also in corners, without any effectful overtaking (so, none of them ever got away from his group).

    rolling starts on laguna ar broken, the ai clips the sausage kerb on last coenr, crash into eachother and bunch up

    Since the recent big update, the AI in these cars is now noticeably too slow. I'm easily faster than them now and I'm hopeless in these cars. The fact these cars are less sensitive on the throttle since the update is possibly why I'm finding I'm it much easier to keep up with the AI when accelerating out of corners but they also tend to brake too early going into most corners, so are easy pickings.

    The AI is constantly driving in groups of 3 or 4 cars blocking the way and refusing to commit overtaking. The only way to pass them is to get the wheels on the grass and force my way through.

    Notes: The race started dry and 4 laps in it rained lightly. This grip loss was costing 3-4 seconds compared to my dry delta. All the Ai pitted for wet tyres which was the wrong decision as there was enough available grip. Because of this I instantly went P1 by 20+ seconds and then the track dried up and I slaughtered them even more as I was on the right tyre..

    Lol. Speaking about that. Took my little boy to Auskick tonight and a guy let his dog run around where the kids were playing footy and I said to the missus I bet the dog sh@$s where the kids are playing, almost on queue I was proven to be right, nice to be right sometimes

    Notes: A bit of Days of Thunder going on here between the DPi and GTE Ai. I tried to get out of the way of the DPi. Not really shown in this video however what I notice a lot of the time is the quicker passing Ai get right up on the rear bumper of their slower opponent (too close) which makes it awkward for them to overtake and then they link up side by side. Once passed the slower class car sometimes fights back right away and even against a human which almost causes an accident or slows the slow down when they should know this car is 10 seconds a lap quicker and just concede.

    + some silly bifo to look into as I see this behavior often. especially when exiting the pit at Laguna there is little awareness and regard.

    I was playing with this slower GT3 to see it's behavior. I often see this; Ai quick to move back onto the racing line deep in the braking zone. It can cause issues..

    With me starting from last, upon the green light, the AI car in 2nd last place always initially reverses to the start box behind it, before engaging 1st gear and moving forward.
