Official Time Trial Report Topic

With the webleaderboard of pCARS2 you could read the date and time when the time was driven, additionally you could see all sector times and all driving aids. This is exactly what we need again. Since AMS2 uses the same platform I am convinced that everything necessary would be there.

Hehe then pCars2 LB menu is pretty close to be perfect.
And I have to admit "slightly" better than my proposal

 

So once again: Where lies the main focus of reiza? May be this feature is not necessary in there eyes or too much effort? Those "simple" things would make some people happy...

 

I've had a couple of issues recently with time trial:

1. Some track/car combos have no time trial records set (even though I've done some laps so there should be records set.):
- Daytona 911 GT1-98
- Monza 911 GT1-98

2. Recently lost the ability to copy setups from the records.
- just tested on Daytona McLaren F1 GTR Low Downforce

 

I think this might be an issue with the 911 GT1-98 with low downforce configuration, I noticed earlier today that it also doesn't register times at the old Hockenheim layouts.

 

Have other TT been at night? This is the first one ive seen in the dark. Now i have VR, night driving, well sunset and sunrise performance in AMS2 is terrible making this TT very uncomfortable to compete in. I know to just give it a miss but still, curious if other have been in the dark also. Id like to see rain TT, that would be cool.

 

Cadillac DPI at Montreal (current version). This issue is not limited to the DPI car. The top times in TT cut the final chicane in the most hilarious fashion and gain more than 3 seconds. Braking is not even required. Track limits in general are not great, you can cut almost every yellow kerb with no penalty. I did do 1.24.0s mostly keeping the car on track . The fastest dudes are doing 1.21s. Analyzing the ghosts I'm way ahead till the last chicane. Cutting the final chicane sausage kerbs does not really unsettle the car much, I feel in real life you'd be launched into the wall like

They do (well did) this in real life. 80s f1 they had separate engines for qualiy which will destroy itself after few laps because they were so overtuned.

 

is it possible to fix the track cutting at Monaco ???

 

For those people expressing frustration because they are not normally allowed to "steal" my TT setups and/or watch my ghost then here is something new.
Check out my latest lap on the new Südschleife in the F-Retro Gen3.
But check it out quickly because Im preparing one of BrunoBs mandatory more advanced setups because my intention is to top the TT LB completely out on this track - and cannot garantee "steeling" will be allowed - then.

Because I didnt think my humorously ment little joke would have such a great impact.
Because after my post above there suddenly is much more participation AND competition on the TT LB on Südschleife.
In the F-Retro class I mentioned.
Hehe and few of the guys are probably a bit too fast for me.
Even with BrunoBs secret homecooked and speziales setup

But I can live with that - hopefully

Definitely aliens, you can see them flying around stealthily.

 

Not exactly stealthly - my good man.
And normally people also does observe a weird multicolored light around or in the alien vehicle.

 

My craft was disintegrating, due to an unfortunate collision. It knocked out the lights, the supposed alien technology I bought from a guy on the dark web is not all it’s cracked up to be.

 

I second this, track limits needs patched.

The Nouvelle Chicane skip is ridiculous. In the weekly TT challenge, it's basically mandatory to go right of the sausage curb to get a competitive lap.

 

I didnt know this.
But probably because I cannot get around on the "Azure" circuit with my "handicap wheel" (SRW-S1 fully handcontrolled).
Its the same problem on the Macau circuit in Raceroom.
These corners are so sharp that my brake/throttle fingers loose control because they get twisted too much.
Hehe this weekend I would otherwise have liked to use some time on the socalled "Azure" track in TT mode

ByTheWay: Dont take this as moaning. Because Im doing OK on most other tracks.
Only the few tracks with sharp hairpins is a thr/br PIA

 

The biggest time gain is the swimming pool by a long way, you can steal a bit of the inside of Nouvelle, but it's seconds at the swimming pool. Interesting that they didn't fix this before the TTOTW.

 

Ahh, that's a shame. It's one of the most accurate modern versions out there (other than some apartment complexes built since the track was released).

The weird thing is, I remember track limits being stricter at one point. I understand allowing a little curb, but basically skipping chicanes breaks the track.
