Imola 72 on f.ult new/old 1.08.0 / 1.08.6, first day with these cars, but love Imola 72 !!! Sudschleife too, great track !!! 1.54.2 first attemp but soooo fun !!! And scary !!!
I don't remember if ers needs a key to activate or is automatic on these cars, i see blue lighting on right side but it's always blinking only...

Im trying not being an arrogant ass here.
But this looong track is nearly as boooring as most ovals.

As allways Im driving in TT mode - so no ERS/DRS help.
Or am I wrong?
Because after your post I checked my menu and can see I have no button mapped for these things.
But can someone enlighten me how these ERS increase / decrease and DRS does work.
If they actually does anything.

This describes the ERS. Not sure if any subsequent changes have been made to it since I do not often drive these cars.

Afaik in time trial the mode defaults to Qual and it seems there is a maximum amount of energy that can be released per lap from the energy store, so I guess we will be spared the " fullblown laptime massacre" which sounded pretty scary.

ERS deployment is automatic, based on the mode it is in, unlike DRS which is manually activated on tracks which provide DRS zones.

Something like that anyway.

 

That is also my experience.
Actually my fastest lap on the Imola thing is with ERS to off.
But I admit that I cannot decide if the Ulti2 feels different dependent of the ERS mode.
But I guess like WU that maybe it doesnt really work in TT mode.
Or is restricted in that mode.

Yes I have postponed this severe revenge because you two guys have actually tried to help me with info about these extra boost thing.

in test day mode 1.08.2 @imola72 anyway... and you can see ERS going down while blinking.... but not button pressing related, you can only change ers mode.

 

You can change the mode I think also in TT to something else (it just starts out in the quali mode) then use the button assigned to boost (like for KERS on the F-Reiza) and it will switch to Quali mode or attack, whatever, for as long as you hold the button, but not sure of that.

KERS… ERS… easier if they’d just stick V10s back into F1 cars.

Hey guys if you cant beat my time on the full Monza 1970 with oval (posted above) then how about the shorter Monza 1971?
Its the same track just without the bumping oval part.
