Yeah the irritating thing is that its obvious that the fastest laptime ARE saved. But the Mad engine just decide that there is no reason to use it.

I dont know if this would be possible but I would like a seperate time trial board for default set ups and one for track specific set ups. I for one dont bother with set ups and i do quite well. I segregating the 2 would be good

 

Not sure if having 2 separate leaderboards would be necessary, imo having the option to filter out people who use custom setups would be a great option to have, same goes for having the option to filter out people who use non-authentic aids.

Great idea.
I would like the possibility to filter out people who have practised more than 8-10 laps on a track.
Its pretty unfair to use so much time that their laptime are more or less unbeatable.
And thinking about it then it should also be possible to filter out all drivers higher up on the LBs than me.
I mean it would make wonders for my self esteem. Because then I could tell myself that Im one of the fast guys.

 

The next time trial competitions are planned for 10 april to 10 april instead of 10 to 17

Would it be possible for Reiza to get Time Trials to work with mod cars / tracks also. I love doing Time Trials but would like to broaden the number of cars / tracks I can use

 

Out of curiosity, do you change the final drive or gear ratios on circuits where the default setup's top speed is either too high or too low? if your car tops at out 260km/h halfway down the main straight but you should be hitting 300km/h by the end of it and can't, that's going to severely lower your lap times. And likewise, if you're not just shy of hitting the limiter at the start of the braking zone on the fastest straight on the circuit, the gear ratios are too tall and you're sacrificing acceleration for a top speed you'll never reach

 

I don't see how, Reiza are not going to hire someone to constantly search the web for mods that they would have to include in the distro which also then might break following an update like the one we're having shortly. Not gonna happen. I think the best you could hope for is for an independent developing a website that provides those features you are after.

Why don't we have a option for wet time trials even in the regular tt mode?

 

Having different weather in normal tt would produce a huge number of slots, maybe too many, but i would enjoy some different weather in tt if it is possible.

Some rain tt would be good in weekly events.

 

I would think a dry TT and rainy TT would be fun

 

I don't see how, just have a separate board for wet track conditions and one for dry. We don't need all the weather options, only track conditions.

Maybe you can disable LT progression or make it so it never dries out somehow
