You might have better success posting this in its own topic or contacting Reiza directly (possibly through a bug report), and give more details e.g., which track layout and car

 

Please Reiza remove the cheated lap of Andrés Mendoza with the 911 RSR 74 at Road America.
His lap is 6 seconds faster than everyone else, driven with a controller...

Yea i picked up on that too. Not sure they can do anything can they. I think they will be resetting all the hot lap times for v1.6 so we might need to keep a eye out after the reset to see what they can do

 

Even for those who are not very good like me it is really frustrating to know that there are those who can use these tricks to stay ahead ... one spends a lot of time improving and trying to understand what is the best setup for his driving style ... then these thieves arrive who with the basic setup go even 15 seconds faster ... something truly unlikely ... but the craziest thing is that they think they can get away with it ... reiza should start developing an anticheat .... which would make it even more professional in the eyes of those who really want to drive and appreciate this software that is already exceptional in perse ...

Io guido su ams da quasi 4 anni...un'esperienza fantastica...soprattutto per quanto mi riguarda con il visore vr....non sono velocissimo ma ovviamente cerco sempre di migliorare, quindi sto imparando a capire quali sono i tempi medi sui vari tracciati con le varie auto...detto questo,spesso su certi circuiti con certe auto sia formula che gt incontro vari personaggi che con setup di default ti sorpassano sul rettilineo come fossero aerei da caccia militari...ovviamente questo mi fa subito pensare che ci sia qualcosa che non va nei loro setup che non c'entra nulla con la realtà del software...è ovvio che stanno barando in qualche modo...direi che questo è molto deprimente soprattutto per chi come me si impegna tanto per migliorare...spero anche che nel nuovo aggiornamento venga dato un freno a questi piloti che barano sia nella cronometro che nelle gare

 

I've been driving on ams for almost 4 years ... a fantastic experience ... especially as far as I'm concerned with the vr visor .... I'm not very fast but obviously I'm always trying to improve, so I'm learning to understand what the average times are on the various tracks with the various cars ... that said, often on certain circuits with certain cars both formula and gt I meet various characters who with default setup pass you on the straight as if they were military fighter planes ... obviously this immediately makes me think that there is something wrong with their setups that are not relevant to the reality of the software ... it's obvious that they are cheating in some way ... I would say that this is very depressing especially for those like me who put so much effort into improving ... I also hope that in the new update there is a stop to these drivers who cheat both in the time trial and in the races

 

Small observation: not sure if this is purely to do with tires or is partly due to engine temp, but I've found the 2nd-3rd lap on a TT attempt is always faster, even on the straights. I realized this back when I was doing a few "TT of the Week" attempts. The tires always start slightly below optimal, with a peak grip window of about 0.5-1.5 laps depending on the circuit.

I'm sure Crimson or others have a much more technical explanation for what's going on, but don't fully judge straight-line speed differences until lap 2 or 3.

 

yes i know perfectly what u said ..... but this idiot has a different cheat . it works on grip or weight. he drives very bad and use defaut setup (slower 1,5 sec compared to a good setup) no doubt that he use a cheat

I never knew for sure if it was possible to cheat in this game but i have always had my suspicions. Yet still have nothing concrete.

Thank you very much for the compliments, unfortunately AMS2 is weak against cheaters, I personally found 4 sure at100% , thanks to the ghosts it is easy to see who has some deception. The worst thing is that some users look at the time table and take as a reference the first one who in addition to driving badly also has not fast set-ups, and take those set-ups thinking they are the best. With this system all the best sim drivers escape from AMS2

To be fair, people who want to exploit will always try to find a way. I'm sure Reiza will be able to work out this person's exploit and deal with it, but these things take time.
