This apparently shows how stable the view is onboard a modern F1 car.

This is how stabilized cameras are performing these days. Nothing to do with your eyes which cannot reach anyway nearly this stabilization

I saw it as the camera doing what out brains do (not really our eyes doing any stabilisation) to stabilise the image, well as close as we can simulate. Our brains do amazing things to stabilise our view and while watching a raw video our brains don't stabilise it as if we were feeling it, now we have cameras that try to make it as natural as possible....amazing.

This is actually 10x the stabilization your eyes can do. Just try a sports car on a track or a go kart and you will see how worse your eyes are...

I've drive a few karts, some Vee's and assorted tin tops (caged and not) on tracks and never considered the view to be unstable. Im old now so maybe now it might be a little different but a few years ago it was fine. I've never driven something as fast or demanding as a F1 car though so have no idea what my brain would have been able to cope with.

Probably depends on what kind of track? Being doing karting in the outdoor track in Dubai quite a lot for instance where you have kerbs. There is no way you can remotely stabilize anything on kerbs. The shaking is so savage you just get on with it and learn to orientate without being able to focus
