agreed! i think it would be fclassic gen 4 though xD

could be interesting. potentially the 1993 season when cars were all super high tech with traction control, active sus, etc.

    also:

edit: this one is good also because you can hear alain feathering the throttle at 1:51. not sure if that will be relevant but...

In a sim like AMS2, Monza seems like a pretty safe bet.:D

Two things I learned from this, I prefer a tighter steering ratio and Nelson Piquet sets his ffb with really high gain settings.

Nice 1 Steel. Thats what I would like to see lots of (here) Real in car against Ams2 incar. split screen, back to back or Just like Crimsons Nice run around the Monaco. with 1 above the other it was good to run both vids at the same time. Also it can give an indication of gear ratio changes to match real drivers gear choice. Brands Hatch vid with Steve is a good example/+Monaco and Senna vid

EDIT. When clicking on this page it sends my mac into a frenzy and takes ages load. probably as a result of so many video links in 1 post, so have to wait for page to load fully to before clicking anything, just a heads up! ! if page seems unresponsive as it does this end.

Very fine, i also considered this one, but decided against it because we don't have the track. So Reiza now has to bring Road Atlanta to us! :p

The first two are already included in the original list :p

I might try the Jochen Mass run at some point in the sim. But might take a bit.^^

Seeing that video makes me beleive that ams2 f1 cars (gen1,2 and 3) "feel" wayyy faster than they should be..or is it only me?

I hope everyone can consider the fact that helmet cams are not even close to what the eyes would see considering the ass and the neck as main shock absorbers and the automatic image stabilization provided by the eyes locking into a target.

Posting way in advance. Will have to wait and see what car(s) we're gonna get in US packs 2 and 3. Dallara DW-12 Mk. 2 (?) Indy at Long Beach. Of course the track itself will be here very soon :hurrayreiza:!

You really want to see the Long Beach experience...:D

P.S. Look, how much lift-off reaction the car shows into the hairpin.........none, it actually needs truck steering angles and throttle to turn... :D

The AMS2 cars are indeed a bit faster (not wayyy, but definetly noticeable, it was also already the case with AMS1, btw.).

You have to also consider the track conditions and intentions of keeping the car and human inside alive. The video in particular shows a smeary track, the cars are petty floaty (whait...floatyness in real life, no "connection to the road"? Must be a broken physics system :D ).

But i agree, that the "generic" Formula cars are a bit faster than their RL counterparts.

    Yes.

I dunno how you could possible arrive to that conclusion reading my post history.

Yes actually I noticed that too. Not just the hairpin, but the overall bias towards slightly better rotation on throttle at multiple parts of the track. Just something to keep in mind with some cars.
