Photorealistic Reshade Preset

Doesn't look realistic to me, looks too purple. And not enough contrast. Shadows are very dark in real life unless in overcast weather.

The defaults are very good. If anything for real life the colours should be faded down a bit as games are usually a touch too bright in terms of colours.

 

So i did now.
Is that right? (Nvidiainspector).Something else to optimise here?

Further down that list, you could set power consumption to maximum - this helps to prevent stuttering.

 

I used NVCP for the sharpening and just these basic settings.

 

Ι ve heard somewhere that image sharpening (in nvidia's cp) eats 2-3 fps (if it is on). Is that the case?

 

Possible, im capped at 60fps so never noticed.

 

i’ve found ramping up the sharpening in the graphics config file makes a more crisp image than this method, especially for seeing further down the road .

I’m running 2.90000000…
with clamp at 0.0600000….
( number of zeros may not be accurate )

makes a bigger difference for my bad eyes anyway.

 

I would say it took a bit more than that from me. But, my fps used jump between 85-105 and now it's fairly steady 80. Except in rain at night where the fps drops drastically anyways.

 

getting recently into the Reshade things , on my learning curve still.in the installation process it asks which API runs AMS2,is that so important?
can someone helps here?

I have a 1080Ti so I will compare this to the Image sharpening in NV CP as well

The vr guys use this technique to improve there visual. but it works for flat earths too as far as i can tell.

I do use telemetry in a sense as i have Simhub driving my bass shakers when running the game

 

I dont have simhub so i cant tell but i have motion rig and i need telemetry sent from the program though the API to make the motion.
Try to ask someone that uses Simhub to get the infos you need.

 

no. i dont like to race open wheel cars in sims. especially F1.
i think the guy who created the reshader posted this video. maybe he is driving.

although this video shows a "tv-realistic" shader, when i read photorealistic in the threads tittle, it was the first thing that came in my mind.
