Popping and sound errors

Hi. AMS2 used to run fine, but now the sound has errors (Popping, and not smooth sounds). I have a GeForce GTX 1650 2GB--I know this is not much memory, but like I said, it used to run fine. I'm running the command for the Steam launcher "gamemoderun %command%" and have Ubuntu Mate 22.04. The machine has 26GB of memory.

 

Hi--nothing wrong now; removed gamemode command, as Google said it could cause audio problems.
