Wathced the vid. You are doing great, keep this effort no matter how many supporters out there. It is just your enjoyment; feel nobody forcing you to this otherwise it is a torture not a hobby.
The sad side is physics and setup overrides keeps chnaging which in turns invalidate some aspects of your setups; requires more work on the same issue again.

Thanks for the encouragement! I actually got a chance to play some MP last night and just mess around for the first time in several months. Warming up for the MP rating system!

Suspension/tire changes are a concern but its part of the project. i use them so I will be keeping them up to date.

Another concern is that as we tune out excessive slip to manage tire heat and wear, drivers will think they arent fast enough. Which may indeed be the case on certain tracks on a one lap basis. They are designed to be just as fast on lap 1, as they are lap 5, 10, 15 etc.

That's why it's interesting! Be able to drive multiple laps (race) with a fast and stable setup of the car. Otherwise we could just use the setup from Timetrial.

Updated for Porsche 911 GT3 @ Imola. With the BoP buff, looks like the porsche is much more competitive. More that .5 secs perhaps?

I had the chance to watch Part 1 & 2 of your Setup Tutorials, very informative! While I'm driving Simulations/Racing Games for over 20 years now, I know the basic principles of Setups, but I must recon that it is/was always a steep Wall to climb for me. So thanks for making this topic accessibile for everyone, especially using a Sim with rather lower coverage on YouTube (compared to ACC/iRenting).

    You certainly won a subscriber!

Very keen to learn what you will change on the default setup. After a couple of laps it becomes really a handful

Its a side by side demo format vs the default and I hope you'll like it.

@steelreserv Thank you for your super-informative setups channel. I've been in simracing for years, but I could never get my head around changing the settings (apart from fuel  and sometimes lucky gear ratio's ).

Your basic setup guides are clear and to the point. I especially like the fact that you're showing the order of which things to look first at and what should follow. I don't want to compare them to some Setups for Dummies, but your channel definitely helps me to find the right settings.

Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward for further episodes!

That's great to hear. The "for Dummies" guy is probably a millionaire...so....yeah lol

Im taking a bit of a break to start working on updating the setups I've already posted so they feel better with 1.1.0.5. (but I've heard rumors that another physics change is due soon, so I kind of feel like a dog chasing its tail lol).

In any event, I am planning on an "advanced setup" guide on the 13th of Feb and a setup guide strictly for Time Trial on the 20th.
