@steelreserv If I could suggest one thing: when you're showing changes in the tire screen followed by the screen with tires app, it would be good to see the values changed rather than watching the same screen over again. This would really help to visualise where the change should happen and what should it look like. So after seeing it on my screen (after setup attempt) it would look somewhat familiar.

Even without it - I like your channel and watching some of the videos with interest.

Updated for the Porsche Cup 4.0 at Interlagos.
The first person to write "Wowzers in the trousers!" in the Youtube Comment section will receive my Porsche Cup 4.0 Track Bundle. (It includes setups for Hockenheim, Brands Hatch, Spielberg and Cascaval that I reserve just for channel supporters)

@steelreserv: What a nice explanation of how to recognize the opening and closing of the diff in telemetry in your video about the changelog of V1.1.1.0.
    Thanks!

The McLaren 720s at Silverstone is now available. Silverstone setups for the other GT3s are available to channel supporters as well.

Great thread! Looking forward to seeing some Nordschleife Setups for GT3 cars. I'm struggling with this. I have no ideas how to make a setup... and not really the motivation to become a full blown race engineer.

In project cars you have the virtual race engineer that helps you to change settings in some desired directions. In ACC you have the presets. But AM2 is lacking these assistants I think. I have so little time to actually drive, I really hate to spent all the time in trying out all the parameters in the car setup.

McLaren GT3 for Nordschleife and the AMG GT3 would be awesome

Great initiative, but just wondered if there are any Baseline set ups for cars. Particularly for those of us who don't have much time to spend setting up things, or even doing long races?
    Any ideas appreciated.

I would say those are called Default Setups and are provides with every car.

I figured that may be the case, but are those default settings different on every track? I haven't even noticed. Obviously Fuel based on laps needs to be adjusted, but that's about all.

Hi blue, yes the defaults are the same for every track, so if you are going to use them, I would suggest to at least learn how to camber and pressure your tires properly.
I am building a database of track specific setups for cars for you to use as well, however I am currently reworking them due to physics changes.

@steelreserv , thank you for the new video on advanced setups. Really informative.
It got wondering though, the tire temperatures are clearly very important, but I don't really like driving with the telemetry HUD. I'm currently using second monitor as, for me, it gives similar information without obstructing the windscreen.
I've noticed though that second monitor only shows the "overall" tire temperatures, but the specific temperatures (out/mid/in) are all stuck at -1. For those also using second monitor, is this a bug or did I mess up something?

Unfortunately, I am not the best resource for technical solutions...

I don't believe anyone likes driving with the telem hud. lol I would do so when setting up the car though. Its not about learning the track so much as learning the car. One the car is straight and the temp deltas are stable and the car feels nice, THEN hit the track hard and race with confidence! (Occasionally checking the telem HUD on the straights...)
