    Any chance these setups could be made available through the TT in AMS2? I am not a fan (that's instead of a lot of swear words) of youtube. That way everything is kept within AMS2 which imho would be more appropriate/practical.

    Most of my builds are saved to modern imola. But sometimes there are updates in the video description. For this one, the merc was nerfed, so be prepared to scroll…

    Until I have a website catalogue of builds, YT it must be.

    I tried this setup but found it very unforgiving. Very twitchy, too highly sprung for my taste.

    more twitchy than the default? or just twitchy? try short shifting. You could increase the downforce. Depends on the track too.

    update: yeah, i had to check to see if I made any changes that would make it more twitchy, and I can't say I did. The rear springs are the same and I lowered the rear ride height which gave it 10-15% more downforce in the rear with a better drag profile. so the twitchiness may be inherent with the turbo kick.

    let me know your thoughts.

    yes more than the default for sure. I mean mostly in terms of roll, it feels like it would be easy to make it do a tank-slapper. I only tried it on Imola. It feels like it is probably a very fast setup but I'm not very good in those. I'm more alienated than alien so I need something softer and more forgiving.

    I understand. You're always free to make changes that make the cars more comfortable for you. These are baseline and my not be perfect for everyone.

    Try removing some bumpstop. Raising the car 10 mm. softening the arbs. you may experience some quirks because this will lead to more frequent bottom outs.

    In my testing, although the default may feel better, the rear is underdamped. This may feel better when you have grip, but the default will get away from you at some point as the rears overheat.

    Hope you weren't taking my comments as criticism as it wasn't intended that way, just as a report back really.

    not at ALL, i want to help. the problem is there are reasons i do things and I worry that negative consequences may show up in other ways under other circumstances.

    for example. I test at silverstone international. turn 4, the cresting left hander. If cars are under damped there, you lose the back end. the turn basically catapults the rear of the car. So i'll stiffen things up a bit and make it so the car is easier to handle there. solidifying the aero at least. But stiffening the back end has side effects, like a bit more twitchiness. especially where the are no cresting left handers lol.

    Also driving style plays a big part. Knowing when to take it easy, and when you can push. when you need to watch the rear tires and try and scrub the fronts a bit more with the wheel.

    Its the dialogue is the most important thing though, so I have to thank you for reaching out.
