If it works like with PC2, then you should get the data for the AI that way.

I need to test this, when I do the next larger testing round for the upcoming Telemetry Tool version. Thank you for the note.

    Cheers.

    Version 14.3 is here.

You can see the extended release notes here: Telemetry Tool for F1 24 (and many other games)
and you can download the Tool there or from Telemetry Tool for AMS2 - Updates

This version has a lot of changes/modifications/additions/fixes. See the Readme.txt for the full list.

    Notable AMS2 additions/fixes:
    • V1.6 data support + trackmaps
    • OMI profile improvement in Driving
    • Improved Multiclass data viewing
    • Improved large grid and online race handling
    • In TimeTrial the Tool again saves data for all ghosts
    Notable new additions:
    • LMU support
    • New One-Lap-Timing view, where you can see for each driver the delta to their session best lap and against the selected BLUE lap
    • Additions to the circle map: Graph for deltas vs. player + fuel estimates
    • Added tooltips to many places, like headers of the tables to provide info on the data in that column
    • Added 'Gap to me' graph to race history
    • In workspace you can now edit similar traces at the same time. This helps to align the traces.
    • New plugins to AC and rF2
    • Many performance fixes on memory use and CPU load
For list of changes, see the ReadMe.txt.

Updating from older versions: Just unzip .zip on top of your old installation. No need to update the plugins. The new trackmaps and trackmaplist for AMS2 are in the <.zip>\bin\tracks\ams2 directory.

Clean/New install. Unzip the files to anywhere in your system (e.g. under 'Program Files\Telemetry Tool' or to somewhere else). On the first run the Tool will ask location for data files (if necessary), so no need to edit the baseSettings.xml file anymore.

If you use other games too with the Tool, check the ReadMe.txt for the changes.

For install help, see the help at Telemetry Tool - Install tutorials

The new version has been tested quite a bit, but there might still be something odd lurking around. If you find anything odd, please let me know.

    Enjoy, and get faster.

I love this tool. Thank you so much!

Could anyone please tell me how to distinguish, how deep the car is above the ground? I'd love to adjust my suspension in order to have the car drive just above the circuit without scratching the ground. But which values tell me, how much air is still between the car and the track surface?

On Ovals, I can hear some scratching noise in the corners, so I believe, raising the car might help. But I never know, how high it needs to be set - I can only judge from trial and error - going higher and higher until I hear no scratching anymore.

Oh, and not to forget: where can i see the IMO temperatures of each tyre?

    So:
    a) height of car
    b) IMO temperatures of each tyre

Will this tool help me out?

    Cheers,
    herakles

Thank you for your nice words.

With regards to OMI temperatures in the Tool with AMS2, there are quite many options to view them.

    - In Driving pane:
    - OMI Profile, real-time/lap/session data (a line either OMI/IMO depending on the side)
    - OMI values: Average (lap/stint), real-time values
    - Lap Comparison
    - Here you can compare each OMI value to the "comparison lap" data visually (i.e. color)
    - Plotter/Multiplotter
    - Again you can see the OMI values e.g. versus some other value, like e.g braking as a trace
    - Histogram/Multihistogram
    - Here you can see the different OMI value spread in histogram
    - Workspace
    - Here you can see traces for all of the OMI values for each tyre (like 'Tyre FL Inside' etc.)
    - Statistics Table graphs
    - Here you have per lap based graphs for OMI values (min/avg/max values)
    - OMI Spread value (min/avg/max).
For the rideheight, the Tool at this moment shows front ride height and rear ride height. The values are average from sides, i.e. e.g. 'Front Ride Height' is (FL + FR) / 2 and the 'Ride Height difference' between the front and rear values. These 3 values (front, rear, diff) can be seen in the same places as the OMI Temp, except in the 'Driving', where it will be in 14.4 also for AMS2 and PC2. and the ride height data is not available in the 'Statistics Table Graphs'.

So the data is there, it is up to you to pick which of the several options is best for you and your use.

    Cheers.

    This looks really good.
    Does it work with Rf2?
    Thanks.

Yes, it works with rF2 too. See the ReadMe.txt or Help (Telemetry Tool - Install tutorials)

    Actually the Tool works with quite many games: AC, ACC, AMS2, PC2, rF2, LMU, KartKraft, F1 2012 - F1 24, R3E, DR2 & EA WRC.

Just working on making it also work with iRacing and ACE for the next release.

    Cheers.

    • Made the Tool in AMS2 mode run without the need to have the Shmem-to-UDP relay running.
    • Updated the shmem-to-UDP relay to have more commandline options to make it easy to send AMS2 data to other computer without using the Tool as forwarder, if you don't run AMS2 and The Telemetry Tool on the same computer.
    • Some AMS2 related ui fixes
    Notable new additions:
    • Full iRacing support added
    • Tentative AC Evo support added
    • Tentative LFS support added
    • Updated JRE to Java 23
    • Changed AC/ACC/ACE/AMS2/PC2/R3E to work without the need to run the Shmem-to-UDP relay
    • Added Notes system, you can add a note on the tracks, e.g. as 'Gear suggestion', which is then shown on the Tool, when you are near the 'note point'.
    • Added traction circle to Workspace. It shows real-time-data or when zoomed in, data only for the Zoomed area
    • AMS2/LMU/R3E new track/car/data added
For list of changes, see the ReadMe.txt.

    Version 15.03 is now available

I just realized I haven't updated the data here for quite a while.

You can see the extended release notes here: Telemetry Tool for F1 25 (and many other games)
and you can download the Tool there or from Telemetry Tool for AMS2

This is a combined release note for 15.0, 15.01, 15.02 and 15.03 releases.

    Notable AMS2 related fixes/additions up to 15.03
    • Plenty of new trackmaps
    • Added car data up to latest version(s)
    • Some session timing related tweaks to enable the Stints data
    • Many little AMS2 related additions and tweaks
    Notable additions/fixes
    • JRE updated to Java 25. Custom JRE binaries for Win, Linux (x64) and Mac (x64).
    • New Stint data view, shows e.g. how long each stint was, fastest lap + top speed
    • R3E, new Shared Memory format support
    • LMU: new plugin + plenty of additions
    • RF2: new plugin + many small fixes
    • F1 25: Full support

    • HTTP-server data additions + fixes
    • Plenty of UI and feature tweaks
    • Plenty of performance fixes
For list of changes, see the ReadMe.txt.

Updating from older versions: Just unzip .zip on top of your old installation. There is new AMS2 tracklist file + trackmaps, which you might want to copy too. Also there are some new libraries + new plugins for LMU and rFactor2, if you also play those games

Clean/New install. Unzip the files to anywhere in your system (e.g. under 'Program Files\Telemetry Tool' or to somewhere else). On the first run the Tool will ask location for data files (if necessary). Also update the plugins for AC, LMU and RF2, if you use those games with the Tool.

For install help, see the help at Telemetry Tool - Install tutorials

The new version has been tested quite a bit, but there might still be something odd lurking around. If you find anything odd, please let me know.
