turismo carretera mod!!, what a pleasure drive with the ams phisics, a turismo carretera mod created by REIZA
There was a mention of DX12 support. Could Rezia consider Vulcan, if possible? DX12 is Windows 10 only.
My wish list for Reiza 17 is a pretty simple one. Get rid of all the random car classes and tracks and especially the fictional content and focus solely on officially licensed Brazilian content. My ideal Reiza game would consist of the 2016 or 17 seasons of: Stock Car V8 - Stock Car Formula Truck - Formula Truck - Titulo Copa Petrobras de Marcas - Copa Petrobras de Marcas Brasileiro de Turismo - Brasileiro de Turismo Mercedes-Benz Challenge - MB Challenge Campeonato Sudamericano de GT - (cant access website) Brazilian GT Series Plus support race packages for each series. At an absolute push, some historical content based on the officially licenced series like the Opala Stock Cars. Include all tracks of each series with full rulesets and championship files etc.
Reiza did a pretty good job with AMS & its old engine, I'm looking forward to see what they can do with current physics & graphic engine. Imo dynamic weather & time of the day is a must for current racing sims.
I would like to see: - 64 bit - A better sound engine - Better replay system - Further research and implementation of the wheel-rubber to track-surface contact during different surface temperatures and conditions, more tire compounds, maybe go for tire rules (sets per weekend) A more in depth tire wear simulation (track temperature, kerbs, flat spots etc).
That would be ok as long as there's an option to turn it on or off. Mandatory tyre rules that cannot be disabled is one of the things I hate in rF2.
If you use Vulkan, you can release more easier Reiza17 in other systems like Linux, Mac, PS4... I think that you must take this like a serious alternative to the Windows exclusive Dx12
-weather -lil more love for rally/rallyx/hillclimb -focus on performance, especially in vr - some unusual stuff as always :> (super trucks ftw) -id love to have ability to create lobby like in pcars, on some machines u cant or its hard to setup custom server have a happy egg
- dynamic weather conditions with nicely done drying line - online drivers ranks - 64-bit - GT1 and LMP1-esque car would be nice - this:
The urgent list for 2017 standards: — A better graphics engine with better light and shadows representation — Improved dynamic track and weather. I race every week in the same kart track and every week the track is somehow different. Earth is not static and there's rain, humidity, temperature, etc. –64 bits Other than those, content and quality are always superb so there's no need to point out or suggest anything.
Reiza Gran Touring Series (GTS), featuring: Dolores-ENG GTS Aries S8 GTS Bauer B6 GTS That would be nice, and the skilled painters in community would love it as well
My main desire is a robust system that supports long-running online racing. With rejoin, driver change, etc. Something you do not need to be worried about whether the server will crash or not during the race. Like IRacing. In addition, an internal dynHud that works well (not a plugin), dynamic track and weather would also be very interesting.
Linux Support with force feedback on wheels and, if is possible, Vulkan render. Linux users needs a real racing simulator, and you would be the first
Seems a bit unlikely that they would go with an engine that required a OS that is not very popular or well adopted.
Vulkan is not an engine, it's an OpenSource graphic API that allows to develop in Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, PS4, Switch.... Is the successor of OpenGL. If you use this instead DirectX, you can give support to all of this platforms easily, and not only to Windows. Is also proved that Vulkan delivers higher performance than DirectX12 ".....is not very popular or well adopted." ))
