Ams2 users are not allowed to claim anything, cause they are not owed anything.
On the other hand Reiza really messed up with the wide target dates (strongly confirmed end of summer until august) and with hyping the audience and with suggesting other previews etc etc etc..

It's just an unfortunate situation as it is. Let's just stop defending both parties like fanboys with very weak and semantic claims.

 

Yes Reiza, take your time, its better to let them finish at all the 1.6 to not have some bug or something, but mate imagine ( i’m not beta tester so i don’t know) that they bring all the cars from imsa 2024 in 1.6, that would be amazing !

 

I would love to see the Acura ARX-06. I believe this is the last car from the GTP class that has not been confirmed or seen in a stream.

+ The lexus GT3 would be nice

Or play le man ultimate before its to late…still hope 1.6 will not be that far as christmas time.

 

1.6 will not have all the cars from IMSA 2024 but imo it will have enough cars to keep people happy.

 

Spoiler alert, it's going to have bugs no matter what. A lot won't be flagged until a bigger mass of players with more diverse hardware configurations and/or play styles has access to the game.

 

All simulators are constantly being developed. But for most, we only know something is coming when it appears. With this continuous demand, are we trying to get Reiza to shut down as well? I'll come with you when something comes up. Is this what you need?

 

Okay sounds good, and do you think, when renato said that there will be an « Usa pack part 3 », what type of cars can we expect and when ? Personnally i bet whit a licensing agreement whit nascar, but like i said IT IS MY OPINION lol

 

I hope so - I would love COTA as it looks like it's a great track. (I know there is a mod but i don't use mods - please don't link to it)

Of course i'd also like basically all cars and tracks ever so it's kind of meaningless for me to say this...

 

Racin' USA pt3 has been out for almost 2 years. As for Racin' USA pt4 there has been no info so far on its content.

Lmp2 / 3 is my favourite thing to drive.

What I really want is an equivalent to the skip barber from rfactor 2. That thing wants to kill you and I love it. Formula vee is close in ams1, I'm hoping 1.6 brings it more in line with it's ams1 version

Have you tried the Formula Inter? It would be the closest thing currently in game to the Skippy. Might scratch an itch for you while you wait for 1.6.

Well, given they do have IMSA backing, there's no reason why there couldn't be an "Historic IMSA" pack on the same lines in theory. I will always want to see a Castrol Jaguar GTP, because I am biased. But there are other notable old IMSA cars. Nissan's 300ZX and GTP Turbo cars, and going back further things like Porsche 935s to go alongside the GT Classics Porsche 911 and Chevrolet Corvette to represent the late 70s. Maybe even a BMW CSL in the same class.

 

Yeah that would be cool , but they said that will be classic versions of le Mans so they could totally do an imsa classic pack and also le mans classic pack, let’s see

 

Depending on which period of time you pick there's a lot of crossover between the two series, so it maybe would or could be treated as one category of "Classic Endurance". Marketing-wise there's no reason not to make the most of IMSA's licence to say "hey, look at these cars from IMSA's past", but you could easily argue that Classic IMSA and Classic Le Mans could be rolled into one category. One for the future and for the endless wishlists in our brains.
