We haven't had one since the introduction of the paddock club.
Unless I'm suffering from the Mandela effect....

 

How do you know that? The only official info I saw was that it's ready and they only wait for some manufacturer approval. I hope for this week tbh

This is great to hear! Hoping that there's also an option to join after/during Qualifying.

For general feedback, if a dev comes across this - at the moment it seems like there's some sort of issue where joining during Quali in a lobby, and the user is effectively locked to only being allowed to Spectate. Even then, sometimes clicking on spectate yields no results and just an infinite "Waiting" button and "Loading" message. Almost like a softlock, which is avoided because of the back button.

I'm hoping that's also fixed in 1.6!

 

In a week it’s already mid-NOVEMBER, and what do we have? One stream in 720p quality and several prohibited leaked videos from players. What did they promise us? Give the green light to many other bloggers, "a few weeks, not months", "new hot news". In the end, we never received anything. I have several friends who have access to the beta and I know everything that is happening there and I can tell you that it is not even close to release. At best for the new year.
This is a complete disappointment, so many people waited in vain for several months, although we could have been told the truth from the very beginning. I waited too, but with this long wait you ruined the interest of many people in the game. You can't always set us up for a quick update and not release it.
And we have the right to criticize, if you don’t agree, that’s your business.

Maybe I'm wrong to not ask in PM, but it kinda shows where 1.6 hype is right now that I reset my account here just to ask about another game.

There's only so much "wait is worth it/the update is game changer" combined with "it comes when it comes" a sane person can take.

AMS2 was my favourite sim, but I didn't play it since june waiting for the summer update. The fake hypetrain (started by the devs in official STEAM updates) literally killed the game for me, I just hope temporary.

For real for 1.7 I will disable steam notifications for AMS2 so it won't repeat

I'm not exaggerating anything. In addition to this forum, there are other sites where people discuss 1.6. Just read what they write for yourself.

 

I’m not denying what you’re saying, but you’re being overly dramatic over delays happening to a free update. Steam won’t help you since it’s a crazy website. I agree with that we should get reasons behind delays, but we should also accept that we might not get them. There’s no need to be overly dramatic

 

Best thing to do is just forget about 1.6. No amount of whinging will speed its arrival up.
I get why people are annoyed though, false expectations communicated hasn't helped along with the usual woefully sparse coms from Reiza.

That's the thing though, I can forget about the new stuff, no problem. I can totally live with the content we have. The problem is the amount of bugs that will supposedly be fixed with 1.6. Tyre wear and silly AI are annoying. Well, not annoying, they can be game breaking.

 

Majestic, do yourself a favour and go outside and take in some fresh air please, you really need to.

Also, as for your "friends in the beta" and "I know everything" comments...saying 1.6 is not even close to release is a lie and totally inaccurate. Myself and other beta users know from experience how far down the line it really is, so for anyone reading and wondering now you know, but as for an exact date us beta users are not on that kinda paygrade.

Yes, it would be nice for a few select people to be allowed to post/stream it for a bit more exposure to tide us over for now, but Reiza obviously have their reasons why this hasn't happened yet.

 

I remember when i made fun of someone for saying the update would come only in december, good times.

 

I wish I could, but Reiza keep posting in the STEAM feed about "game changing update coming this summer" and then going radio silence for half a year

I wish they started treating it as a released product instead of early access. No other sim tease updates literally half a year in advance at this point (and for all we know could be more) and with all the justified disappointment of everyone outside here you can see why. This forums is a happy bubble for Reiza, but the whole situation is blasted to shreds everywhere else and I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment.

Renato told me I was of little faith when suggesting update would come october at earliest

 

I had read it somewhere, now I don't remember exactly where but if it were to come out first I would be happy ☺️

 

They were probably talking about summer 2025

 

My gut feeling is summer 2077 We all know how it ended up when it was rushed to meet stakeholder's deadlines.
