so it really a december release ? I thought 1.6 was almost finish. Could we get a statu of the advancement ?

 

Noone knows. Like literally noone, including Renato if history taught us anything. And I don't intent to be mean, it's just it seems even them are being suprised by some obstacles that may have not been forseeable

No point catching parts of comments and making assumptions.

 

I was completely upset by such a long wait for the update that I stopped waiting for it this year. It seems to me that it will not be earlier than January 2025. This will be very sad, because 99% of players will go to test the new EVO, including me.
I'm almost sure that I will like it and I will spend most of my gaming time in it...

Evo is not direct competition for AMS2. I am sure parts of it will be fun, but one is for driving about in sporty road cars on the road and on the track, the other is a Motorsports Simulator, as the name suggests. It doesn't look like EVO will be equipped to provide much of the proper racing simulation that people actually want/get out of AMS2 (except, of course, GT3s, because it would be business suicide not to include some GT3).

 

Crimson say it won’t be for 2025. We might expect 1.6 on late december

 

So we have to blame Kunos for delaying his own game, and for having all this people in AMS2 forums asking all the time "the update when?"

Man, this should'nt even be necessary and the irony is the same people wanting the team to rush will be complaining about bugs when the work isnt properly finished!!!! Either way you can't win.

 

Everything I've read about the upcoming EVO has really killed the excitement I felt for that new title.

I look forward to when AC Evo drops in january in Early access , and then all the attention seeking trolls jump over to there forums and start asking daily or even hourly about When Mods … when more content … when more modes … etc for the next couple of years .

 

Were you on the boat of acc early access? II did. It was not like this. There was a detailed release plan monthly or bi-monthly and it was quite well met. I just dropped 20 hours or so in it because vr is horrible and I do not like at all how it drives.
Just to say that no-one knows the future. It may be sh*t, it may be gold. Trolling on a not released sim about how their community will react in the future is....... Sub-optimal. We'd rather be focused here on our community, our sim, our devs, all of which are not in a perfect shape as of now, to my eyes....

 

There's enough new cars to keep people happy.

 

the double podium of the Alpine F1 at Interlagos and the 4th place of the Alpine lmdh at the 8h of Bahrain revived my hype for the 1.6 and the A424 : sifflet : (i ´m just a French driver lol )

I'm honestly happy with the amount of cars. I feel like iracing has really made me appreciate any and every car available in game that I dont have to buy one at a time haha. I'm really excited to try all the cars over again after 1.6. The added cars are just icing on top for me.
