Yeah i know that will be release « soon » but honestly how long it has been sayed that it will be « release soon « but warning they release when its ready !

 

We can make a bingo card / drinking game for this thread.

I made that in August, 3 months ago, I surprised it's still relevant...

 

Game isn't even released yet and I already got a blackout bingo.

 

Yeah it’s absolutely possible AC EVO might immediately eat the lunch of everyone else in the sim racing space, but also the more likely and precedented thing will probably happen: it takes months to years for “enough” content to be on there and in a state that people are happy with.

Anyway, I thought I wouldn’t have time to play 1.6 when it does comes out, but since I’ve been laid off from my new job already (on the day of the elections here in america, no less ) Guess I’m feeling patient again.

Complainers gonna complain. Whether it's ACE, or 1.6... Or any other game, no matter how perfect.

I'll buy ACE, b/c Kunos supports the industry. I like AC but don't play it much b/c you have to use a Content Manager to get a decent experience. Too time consuming. $200-300, which is what I estimate I end paying w DLCs etc, is not very much when you consider that we're talking at least five years. I play $40 to play a round of golf. What I see so far in ACE makes me a buyer.

People crying over pennies is not a good look. Enjoy the game. The latest custom FFBs really help make racing the only thing you have to concentrate on. Sure, will smile ear to ear when 1.6 arrives, but I still have many car/track combos I haven't tried.

ACE and 1.6 will be here soon enough. Enjoy life in the meanwhile.

 

Biggest reason I don't play AC that much is that the UI sucks, specially for VR, and Content manager doesn't really solve that.

 

I shouldn't be surprised, but I can't believe how toxic some in our community are, one thing I'm 100% certain on is, the Reiza guys aren't sitting on the update just to annoy some of you who seem to take every minute it's not released personally, I'm tipping they're working their tails off and are as excited as the rest of us for it to come out. If "no one plays" AMS2 when ACE comes out how is that your problem? feels like more like a Reiza problem... and I'm sure they'll stand by their work and back themselves in. Just let them do their jobs guys the update is massive good things take time.

 

Yeah, the CM is too complex. Work for half an hour to try something that doesn't work.

 

It seems some people struggle to understand even the basic concepts. Expressing dissatisfaction in a negative way won’t speed up the release.

Reiza is working to improve various components of the game and the simulation. We should be glad to have a developer committed to raising the quality of their product and bringing in new content.

I bought AMS2 in 2020 when it was in early access/beta, and it’s undeniable that the game has improved significantly in many areas since then. It’s taken time, but Reiza is an independent developer; let’s keep that in mind as well.

 

I have complete faith on WHAT reiza can deliver, on WHEN they will deliver it, not so much anymore , but I do believe 1.6 is closer now and it will be worth the wait. I have enough things to do and play while I wait, some people here really need to chill and find something to do while they wait, we used to be nicer around here.

 

If I could create a betting pool, my offers for bets on the release, knowing where the beta currently is at, but having no info on Reiza's goals for the release nor any info on how much further they are internally, would be as follows:

Early November release (6th to 10th) - 50.0
Mid November release (11th to 20th) - 3.0
End of November release (21st to 30th) - 1.8

Beginning of December release - 2.6
Mid December release - 7.5
End of December release - 6.0
2025 release - 40.0

Good morning, just wanted to write something while I'm still laughing.
Of course I see many complains about the release date and I see also answers from Club Memebers and "higher" about it.
While I understand the hard work from the developers trying to deliver a NEW GAME in a shape of update, on the other side I see poor honesty to admit that the communication between the developers/Reiza and players is very poor. People is frustrated because dont get any news about and not for the update itself.
Again, I understand the hard job and that's why I am playing other games in the meantime, but the lack of communication here is not just a complain. Is matter of fact. I play Warframe and the developers use to do devstreams and update almost every month, bringing news WITHOUT a specify date but at least keep players informed.
This is what players expect from Reiza.
We all are pushing for more communication, not for the update release. Saying "will come soon" and then disappear for a month is not the type of communication players want, and I think is the main cause of people loosing hype and leave the game.
