Road to V1.6 Hype Train (cont.)

Funny you'd mention this, late in the cycle of the current sim, the devs started to implement changes and make them available to 3rd parties.
Planes would be quite hard to control in a crosswind, or just keep runway centerline on t/o and landing in general. It's mainly grip levels as far as I understand, and lateral grip that was lacking before.
This will be taken a step further in the new sim, with more visible tire flex and much more complex ground/terrain models as in gravel, loose sand etc...(think bush flying)
It's going to be mighty interesting, and since the 1.6 (rc) is not unlikely to release later this month it'll make for a busy time in the seat.

 

Coming back to AMS2, is there still one more blog to come? I remember Audi and Road Atlanta being officially unveiled in the last one and Alpine shown in an X post and Sebring being teased in a screenshot but nothing more being confirmed officially. I assume Mosport will be the final track but have I missed any more official car reveals (there were seven if I remember correctly)

I presume (I could very well be wrong) it will be free as it wouldn't fit in to any of the known packs coming right?

But after the unofficial video of the lambo street car, it seems there is a decent amount of content we don't know about.

There is, even we in beta were surprised but some unexpected additions that weren't in the initial content list.

 

Theoretically speaking, will the new content add new classes to the roster or is it mostly focused on fleshing out pre-existing ones? (as has been happening with the already shown cars)
Personally I'm very happy with what they've been doing with the latter as I was never the biggest fan of the "multiple classes with only 1 or 2 cars" approach

I calculate at LEAST 15 new cars, and it seems plausible that actually there might be an unmentioned track. I don't know for sure - but it has been a bit of a lacuna in the speculation and with Road Atlanta hinted at since early in the dev cycle, presumably the track team can produce more than just three in the period we've had. I don't mean to imply tracks are at all easy or not time consuming, but it seems like a potential surprise joy beyond the expected /hinted IMSA additions.

 

Please list off those cars

 

or the track team is already working on tracks for future updates, also an possibility, if for example 2 tracks that are planned for an update are finished, they can already start working on the next update, i don't think they will suddenly add an unplanned track.

 

Everything officially confirmed and unofficially 'sighted' is in the first post of this thread BTW. Little public knowledge is out there for what's free and what's paid at the moment, although I think it's safe to assume three IMSA tracks are and at least five cars are.

Seven was the number of new manufacturers/brands they planned to introduce this year, but that was probably before all the various delays they've run into so I wouldn't take it as gospel.

I've put 11 in the OP and even that's stretching it a bit.

Off a couple of other rumours, there is one more specific car that I think I know of and another I've seen a hint for but I can't identify the car (and you'll have to take that with no sources because I can't find the various Reddit or Discord comments that mentioned them).

 

Tracks: Road atlanta, canadien tire,sebring,mospol
Gt3 gen2 :corvette, audi, lambo (for a total of 7 gt3 in game).
Is ferrari and aston martin could be add ?

 

I don't expect to see any more GT3 or GTP cars added in the next update personally (aside from the 5x we already know about).
