I know it's maybe unlikely, but I hope to see the generic F-USA 23 make room for the Dallara IR18 now that MSG isn't holding the exclusive rights for those anymore.

 

Well, there are based on the unfortunate leaks at least 4 lamborghini cars, there are definitely at least 4 audi cars, there is an alpine car, 2 new corvettes as seen in the stream. We've seen the oreca 07 and there've been hints of another LMP car; this takes us to 13. But, this is 5 new manufacturers (since we already have Chevrolets), out of a stated 7 in Dev update 1. So, by the pigeonhole principle, there must be 15, since no car represents multiple manufacturers.

I would be surprised if the LMDh alpine and not the GT4 car were added; so at least 15 is my guess.

I think it is about time for an official statement about the delay of the update. People just deserves to know better.

Among the 7 manufacturers, there is perhaps Mitsubishi with the Eclipse Cross of the 2025 Stock Car.

Generally, Renato makes announcements to us during Development Updates. We will definitely know more in Part 3.

 

We already have Mitsubishi Lancer from the Adrenaline pack... Of course it is possible that 7 new deals may include examples for a previous manufacturer in a different type of car, but I think this would be a pessimistic reading of the words in the dev update, and I hesitate to believe RS would make this kind of "mistake".

Sorry, I forgot the Adrenaline pack. If we take the IMSA 2024 grid, the 2 manufacturers can be Acura, Ligier, Lexus, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Ford.

 

Renato's probably written about 20 or 30 that he never published in the last year.

 

I just want LFM + AMS2.

 

It gets delayed by a day each time someone asks when the update gets released...

 

And the ETA is now 2035

 

I understand that this huge update needs to be delayed to reach the level of quality Reiza is aiming for but the lack of transparency is a bit frustrating. The "soon" and "around the corner" are not respected, as are the supposed "other previews" and now what... Total silence. Beta testers will downvote again and give us their moralistic patience rhetoric but I don't care. I bought each and every DLC and preached to everyone how much AMS 2 was the future big sim racing title and how much their transparency was something new and refreshing in the video game industry but I have to say that the way the communications are handled currently is quite disappointing. I'm still hyped, I have touched some grass, but now, I think we deserve some cheese.

 

I also agree with it being frustrating. This type of info is what Reiza lacks, not building hype (which is what it feels like people say they do not do well)

Reiza made their own one which was too close to the real thing. Licensing issues happened so now we have the car we have in game
