Could 1.6 be ready for Thanksgiving 2024 ?

We've all been there

 

What does that mean ?

 

It's a common thing especially in graphic design and copywriting where a "final" file have unexpected iterations added that are reflected in the filename to try to point out the new file is final. Happens A LOT unfortunately.
Less now with cloud storage and access to the same file by multiple people.

Its a CPU instruction set. AMS2 uses AVX instructions.

Le Mans and Zandvoort are based on speculation and possible hints here in the forum. Honestly, I think the historic Le Mans track is more likely. Zandvoort would be a real surprise.

The Lamborghini Huracan (I can’t remember if it was the Trofeo) and the Veneno leaked about one or two weeks ago on a YouTube channel. The videos were quickly taken down for obvious copyright violations. There hasn’t been any mention of a Lamborghini Gen1… but since we’re getting the Gen2, who knows?

Nothing’s certain yet. I’d say we should wait for Reiza’s next update post for official confirmations.

 

Looking forward to 1.6 but also really enjoying Raceroom at the moment so no rush.

Lots of games to play and with 1.6 and ACE, it should be a good Xmas / New Year.

It is a lovely time of year in the Southern Hemishpere to be touching grass anyway.

 

Do you think we will be able to recreate this with the 1.6 physics updates?

In the Northern hemisphere, it's the most depressing month of all... 1.6 would be welcome!!

 

Sadly I think the 1.6 physics will be too realistic to replicate this insane event

 

That's it. I've heard about raceroom too many times, I'm giving it another go.
I'm running out of cars to muck around with in AC and I'm finding it hard to want to play ams2 currently as we are "close" to big changes.

 

So I was just scrolling through the game files and under the Tracks and Vehicles folders came across a few cars and tracks not currently in the game, I know some have already been confirmed.

Not sure if some of these are old files from PC2 etc, the only mod I have installed is the FIA GT1 Mod.

 

I've spent 38 years melting in Rio de Janeiro summer, I enjoy more this time of the year in the northen hemisphere by a lot, I'm an autumn enthusiast now .

 

There's a few that I think have been there since the start, like the Group 5s, Astons and Diablo, but the rest seem to be a fair shout. Might not all be in 1.6 though, even if some are in their plans.

I think there's plenty enough content already known for the next update that will make me happy anyway, anything else is very much the umbrella on top of the cherries on top of the icing on top of the cake (apart from road cars and stadium trucks, those would be the brussel sprouts on my personal cake!).

 

A lot of these are old PC2 leftovers (though it is worth noting that many of these conveniently placed leftovers like the Polo WRX and BMW 2002 found their ways into the game despite having been there since launch) and the M8B has been in the files for a few updates but the M3 GTR seems to be a totally new addition

If I may speculate, I assume that if we do get this M3 it could be added as part of Reiza's push for older endurance racing content they teased way back in the December '23 update, possibly tying into the IMSA stuff as a historic ALMS addition given how legendary the M3 became in that series? The prospect of early 2000s GT cars alongside bringing back the LMP900s from PC2 is pretty mouthwatering to me but I'd rather not get too ahead of myself

My one hope is that if they do add it, please make the straight cut gears appropriately hearing damaging for maximum immersion (assuming it's the later FIA/VLN version that's added and not the earlier, quieter ALMS model)
