Hello, Is anyone able to explain what the highlighted section below is trying to say? In particular, the relationship between the 3 values: Bar, %, degC. If it helps, the screen shot has come from the JCW Mini. Same section, but with a higher pressure set: All the best Andy
It’s unclear IMO. Reiza probably added it to show the tyre temps from when you were on track, but there’s some issue in the ME that resets these values when you go into the pits. I might be wrong, but this is what I know and assume
It should show: last tire pressure, tire wear, tire temp (I/M/O) But as mentioned above, as soon as you are back in pit, the car gets new tires and the values are reseted. So this info is nonsens at the moment (or since beginning of AMS2). It's sad, it would be very helpful if working right.
I wonder if they can code it so it takes these values from the car when you press the “return to pits” button
Well it's an old legacy thing from Pcars2 unfortunately, lets hope the Reiza can fix this things soon enough.
Thanks for the responses. That would be handy information to have and potentially very useful. You quickly get into the conundrum (as the dev) of whether you present the user with an average of those pressure and temp values or whether you show a snapshot moment of them... but if you take a snapshot of them, it may present a false impression to the user depending on where on the circuit it was taken. If you use the average, over what time period would you use? Without the knowledge of what the values are based on and representing, the presented data is not particularly reliable or usable (if it were working), but if it is known or explained in the tooltip section at the bottom, then yeah, I can see that being very helpful to have it. Thanks again. It's really helpful to have users who have either been around the game long enough to have a historical knowledge or who just have a deep enough interest to have learned it. Really appreciate it. All the best Andy
