Silly time trial times

For more context on race car times to aim for. The Porsche 956 completed a 6:11.13 in qualifying, and that was back in 1983.

 

The Gt3 are still no cars till 1.6 drops, more like trains, so Wings on that lap were deinstalled as far as my old brain can remember, load the ghost to use the set as long as it is available. Cant wait to smash it again when tables deleted this week hopefully.

I drove against this ghost with their setup recently, I believe the individual had all TC turned off, I tried the lap and could see how it was possible but man was it a handful to wrangle. I'm willing to bet it took some serious hours for that person to set that time.

So no, from what I've seen it is totally legitimate, just the person manages to wrangle the car without any assists and optimised most of the corners.

 

true mate, had that battle with niker several times at Nords were we pushed us further and further, let me to over 3.7k hours in game too. An earlier Pole close takeover TT was captured even live on the tube:

 

My error was my starting point which was RL (which I expected to not match the game but not to be 30 seconds off was massive). I wasn't drawing from a racing car source.

Given my level of free time if I can get a 6.30 ish would be bloody amazing (Which is a long way off where I currently am)

 

I have been doing some time trials in Nordschleife recently with different cars and man it is so much fun and hard at the same time. I tend to do long races against the AI in Nordschleife and there I race sort of with caution so I am able to finish the race. In time trials though it is all about going to the limit, and in such crazy and long circuit it is quite extreme.

Yesterday I just did the most fun car combo I've ever tried in Nordschleife for time trial and this is the Formula high tech Gen 1. I can not race against the AI in this circuit with that beast because soon or later I crash, but alone it is quite an extreme challenge. Everyone who happens to read this, you won't regret giving it a try
